  1. My truck says this update was successfully installed. I updated it last Saturday. But the app still says updating. I guess the app is just not refreshing.
  2. Thanks for looking. Still trying to figure out the super cruise unbale to change lane issue my truck has. Mike
  3. Saturday I updated to GM N22-2379480. Vehicle said update was successful and in the vehicle it shows it in the previously installed updates. The app still shows "installing". Any ideas to get the app to see it was updated? I have driven the car many times since and the mileage and fuel in the app is updating.
  4. The truck came with the Kicker Audio in the tailgate. My understanding is that the Kicker Audio, although on the truck order and sticker, it is dealer installed. Same with the Cat-bak exhaust. On the order and sticker and dealer installed. Any chance they could have disconnected something and not reconnected it? Or there would be no need to touch anything where I show the photo (under bumper behind spare tire).
  5. I was looking under the rear bumper of my 2023 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate. There is this blue fitting attached to the black tube that does not look like it is attached to anything onther than tied to the black tube. I was looking to see if anything might be disconnected since I am having issues with the auto lane change with Super Cruise (another thread). I am assuming it is not related so I started a new thread just for this. Anyone know what this is?
  6. Thanks. Do I do that through the local dealer? Or do I get a hold of GM? The service advisor was very frustrating with this. When I picked up the car I was able to speak the mechanic working on it when he brought the keys to the advisor. He was more reasonable to speak to but only said all he can do is what GM is telling him to do and next step would be to take the console off to find the part number for the image processing module which they have to order and wont know if it is back ordered until they get the part number from the existing module. I called Onstar just now and they are sending a refresh to the truck. I doubt that will work. They said call back tomorrow during regular business hours and they will connect me to GM. I will ask them about the Factory Service Rep.
  7. I have a 2023 Sierra Denali Ultimate produced 1/10/23 and finally took delivery on 4/28/23. Yesterday I got the update GM N22-2379480. I have Super Cruise and Lane Change does not work at all (I have another thread on this). Either manual or automatic. Both before and after this update. Perhaps now that I have GM N22-2379480, I will get the next update and maybe that will fix Super Cruise and it is not a hardware issue! Dealer and GM apparently have no clue what the issue is and just guessing.
  8. Asked the local dealer to adjust the cover. They really did not want to touch it. All they did was move the cover back and did not adjust the rails. One rail looks like it can go back to the bulkhead around 1/16” to 1/8” and on both some spots there is a gap between the rail and truck and I can get tighter. Also the middle bracket on one rail is not in the middle. Closer to the bulkhead. Last looks like they over tightened the lock knobs to the elevator bolts that hold the cover down and is slightly squashed the cover with the elevator bolts a little. Maybe this one is normal. Not to a point where I think it will leak but enough where water puddles of truck is level. When fastening the rail brackets, do I tighten to 10ft pounds? I saw that in the bakflip mx4 install directions. I do not have install directions for the Rev cover.
  9. Hi just got a new 2023 Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate and have the subscription and more often than not the speed limit is not shown. It was better on my 2018 Yukon which showed it near all the time.
  10. Picked up the truck from the dealer after two days. Lane Change issue Not fixed. For the Service driver assist system message the service advisor said they program several modules. The RO printout noted they programmed the driver presence module. They said it fixed the issue. However, since this was sporadic and happened three or four times in the 700 miles I drove it, I will keep an eye on it to see if it comes back. For the Unable to change lanes with Super Cruise, they said they tried to program the image processing module but it did not program. GM requested they get the part number of the existing module and then order a new one. Issue is to get the part number, they need to take the console apart. Advisor made it sound like a big deal. My concern is what do they damage doing this! Further issue is when they finally get the part number, the part may be back ordered. I am a bit baffled that they have to get the part number off the part and not just order it. This may not even be the issue. Considering they had the car for two days and I need it, I decided to take the car tonight. I am reaching out to @GMCustomerService and see if they can assist.
  11. Separate from my Truck, a couple weeks ago I rented a 2023 Yukon Denali and I got the "Service driver assist system message" on that also. I still have not heard back from the dealership what they have concluded, if anything. Mybe I just should not have bothered with it and let it be. Even with Service driver assist system message only thing that appeared not to work right was the lane change.
  12. I wonder if they got an error code for the Service driver assist system message. I was not able to get any info on that from the service rep (not the mechanic).
  13. Well I brought it in. Two issues I reported are: 1. Unable to change lanes with Super Cruise 2. Service driver assist system message They have no idea of the issue. They said GM told them it might be a chip shortage issue and the chip is missing which does not sound right. And GM wants them to reprogram several things. They need to keep it another day. any thoughts?
  14. I just got a message that said service driver assist system. I got that the other day and thought it was a one off due to rain. maybe related. I am scheduling a service appt.
  15. Thanks. That is my fear. I what will they break trying to fix it.
  16. Yes. I also tried different settings and turning off and on. I will try turning off. Powering off the truck and then turn it on. I did not try that yet. With it off, there is no message on the display like the one I previously posted.
  17. That was in an interstate parkway. Speed limit 55. I was just on I87 in ny. Speed limit 65. Daylight. Good conditions and lines visible. Same thing. All sensors like blind side monitors and keep in lane work. Guess there are other sensors I do not see or have warnings on that may not work. no system updates available. It sure where to look for the current version. I see android version.
  18. I called onstar and they put me in touch with a GMC rep. Rep just stated the standard that sometimes it will not work depending on what it sees. Then stated it could be a road where the super cruise works but not the lane Chane. I tried on three roads. Same thing. I need to schedule. everything else seems to work. my concern is the dealer will just not know. I wonder if it is a software update that is needed. Right now system does not show any update is available.
  19. The dealer I purchased the truck from said bring it back and they will try again. But that is 100 miles away and if they did not do it right the first time, then I am skeptical they will fix it the second time. The dealer also said bring it to a local dealer and they should fix under warranty. I went to the local dealer I use for service. The tech that installs these came out and stated it was not installed correctly. It is to far back, clamps not spaced properly, and clamps loose. They said they would not fix for free since another dealer installed it. The cost would be min of $210. They also stated they could not guarantee they can get it installed properly since already installed improperly. I also went to a company called Surburban Caps that is a Bakflip preferred dealer. They also said it was not done right. They would not fix it since I did not buy from them. I am debating on just getting rid of this one and get Suburban Caps to install a new Bakflip MX4. Frustrated with this.
  20. thanks. I do think it is an installer error. 1. Drain tubes not draining. 2. the last 3" of each rail closest to the cab, the rail looks to be not flush. Maybe 1/32" to 1/16" gap. 3. at the cab side, there is maybe a 1/16" to 1/8" opening on each side (see photo below). you can see daylight when inside the bed and it is light outside. It does look like the rail is all the way up against the bulkhead. Maybe I need to put a little foam in those two spots too. Did you install the drain tubes through the side wall or through the bulk head tie downs? If through he side wall, did you trim the tubes so just enough goes through the hole? Is there any issue with water going into this cavity that looks like otherwise it would not see water? Here is a photo close to the bulkhead. Water can get into that spot. It feels like the rail is all the way again the bulkhead but probably need to take the cover off to confirm.
  21. I have a 2023 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate with Supercruise. The Supercruise works but not the lane change. I am not in Haul Mode. When trying to change lanes I get the message that shows an Exclamation mark and says "Unable to change Lanes" I tried with Lane Change setting on Automatic and also when I manually hit the blinker. When I tried yesterday it was raining out and I tried this morning not raining but dark. I have not had a chance to try during the day with better weather. thanks, Mike
  22. Hi. I picked up a 2023 Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate on Friday. Dealer installed the Rev cover. Been raining a looked inside and a lot of water. Water was coming in along the rails and near the drain tube. One thing is I went to check the drain tubes. I pulled the tube off the drain on the rail and water gushed out. It was as if the tube was blocked or kinked. They installed the tube through the hole on the side but did not trim the tube. I am assuming the tube got kinked or turned up in the cavity so it would not let the water drain. So after watching a video, I trimmed the tube so only about 1/2" to an 1" sticks through the hole. A few hours later (still raining here) I check the tube and no water gushed out like before. Anyone think this is an issue with just half an inch to an inch of the tub sticking through the hole? It looks like the picture in the previous posted by @jaxcam02 but not a lot of tube pushed through. I thought about sticking it through the cab side wall through one of the larger openings for a tie down but figured I would stick with the side wall hole. I need to let it dry out and check it again next time it rains. If I still have an issue I will contact the installing dealer (100 miles from me) or @GMCustomerService help. I may go to my local dealer as well where I will have it services. Just not sure if they will charge me. Although the cover was installed before delivery so it may be covered under the GN warranty. thanks, Mike
