Changed my oil today and fixed my cold air tube the dealer didn’t properly reinstall (had warranty work on vac pump/brakes done about a month ago). The tube was loose and throttle body clamps were barely hanging on. Good quality job there. ?
Got my truck back in less than a day. Gm dealer actually fixed it on a sat. Woot woot.
Replaced the pump, booster, master cylinder, and lines. All according to the tsb. Truck stops now which is kind of important.
Just got my truck today from body shop for hail damage repair and lost brakes at Low speeds at my work parking lot. Under warranty so gm towed it but still sucks to now be without again as the body shop had it 3 weeks.
Dropped mine off at the body shop for hail damage repair. Was told it could be 4-6 weeks If they can’t push the roof and have to skin it. So I’m stuck in a rental Hyundai Elantra or something. Horrible. Lol
Bwahaha.
I don’t like crawling on my back anymore to do oil changes after my ACL reconstructive surguery last year. My truck isn’t “cruise in” material to where it’d ever have the hood popped anywhere. But the gm tech (warranty work maybe) or oil guy would sure appreciate it. I guess the same can be said for my cold air tube to an extent too. Haha.
Dropped off my 15 for the power steering recall and driver seat side to side movement tsb.
I have some led lights coming to do ambient lighting inside, grill lights and rear marker lights under the tailgate. I’ll also do the air box cutout mod to go with my airaid cai tube. New Wix air filter (throwing away the k&n the previous owner out in as it keeps getting my maf dirty and causing hesitation upon acceleration) and a new cabin air filter.
Buy a pre made relay kit off of amazon. Wire power and ground then use the parking, headlight, or fog light signal to trigger the relay. Or you can use a three position switch to also manually operate them at will.
Started this today. It definitely takes a lesson in patience. Cutting the edges proved To be a job for my wife and not me. Haha.
Only the front came out good. Had to order two more sheets. I didn’t let The rubbing alcohol evaporate on the rear emblem completely. Oops. Lol
I paid $700 or so for it. Given it’s faults and the price I have no real complaints. If I remember correctly everything I was looking at was around $1200 maybe?
I installed a rollbak cover back in February.
Tbe cover is overall made of ok materials. The can inside the bed is wavy and not the best but it can’t be seen. The actual rolling/top cover is very nice and held up well in a hail storm that golf balled the rest of my truck. So kudos for toughness.
As many of the reviews I read online, my cover has started to roll up by itself anytime I hit a bump. It used to just be major pot holes but now it’s rolling up so frequently I have to tie off the pull strap to keep it closed.
Great idea and I love the versatility but I’d go with a roll n lock next time if I were ever to need to buy another cover.
I like my Texas edition emblems.
On my truck that’s in Colorado with Arkansas plates. I bought it in KS while I lived in MO. Original owner was from OK. My truck gets around. Haha.
(Ok I need to tag my truck in Co, we’ve only been here three weeks)
