Installed some 3M protection film in strategic places to help avoid more chips. Here’s hoping it works.

I received the exhaust just the other day, but I haven’t had time to install. I’ve been preoccupied trying to get my bumper fixed after a guy thumped me at a red light. Initial impressions are good on the construction. Heavy duty stainless and th welds are nicely constructed. The tip looks good, and they give you extra hardware and pipes for all configurations (which seemed strange a first) I’d say the muffler is 18” or so. Because I have the cc with the short box, I’ll have to make one cut on the pipe because I’ll have to use the pipe for the 143 “ and and 153”. Installation seems really straightforward. I’m hoping to use a lift I have access to. I’ll post some pics when I get it installed, but I’m not exactly sure when that will be. Sorry about the delay.

Thank you sir. I’ll definitely be checking for this. I wonder what determines which wires are connected or not? I know of something is special ordered, but it seems arbitrary that some have certain connections and others don’t.

I looked under my dash, and I have that connector shown in the pic. I can test whether it’s hot right at the connector correct, or does it require me to take the side panel and check for a fuse and more? Sorry....noob question. Ty Phil.

I called three dealerships. One said it voids everything, and two said “it’s complicated.” One was very honest in saying not necessarily, but it potentially makes your path to warranty claims around suspension issues much more complicated. At least that one was honest.

I was absolutely going for a leveling kit, but my dealer said it would most likely void my warranty on anything associated with the front suspension, so I’m holding off for at least a little while. Love the looks of the 2 inch kits. I was told, from a friend, there are factory leveling kits for the 2500 s with plow packages. Not sure if this is correct, but seems a little hypocritical that GM supports such a factory package for the 2500 but states it will void aspects of the warranty on the 1500s. I could be wrong though.

I always wanted one of those. I’m not sure what I think of the new one.

Can anyone comment on the SLP side exit exhaust for the 5.3 I terms of loudness and V4 drone? Ty.

Do you happen to know how it compares to the GM Corsa setup? Ty

I know a guy who has the 4.3, and it seems to have plenty of juice. I’d check into the tune as others have stated. I will tell you that he ended up putting smaller wheels and tiresand seemed to be happier with that. (17s I think). Just don’t let anyone shame you because you have two less cylinders. That’s a damn nice truck. I had a Honda Ridgeline, and all my buddies shamed me, but not because of the two less cylinders ha ha.

Anyone run the mangaflow 15267 catback. ? It’s supposed to be their quietest system. How does it compare to the GM Corsa system? Is that loud?

I’d say this is more than a fair deal, so good for you. I didn’t do quite as well because I missed out of GM loyalty rebates.

Me too...I like it. On a side note, adding weather tech mud guards today. Got a better price than the GM versions. Seems like they are decently reviewed. I can’t stop thinking about mods with this truck. I barely did anything to my Ridgeline. Ha

I was told three payments so the dealer doesnt get a charge back, but I don’t know if this is universal. I may be wrong though, but that’s what I plan to do. I specifically asked I’d there was a pre payment penalty, and there isn’t one.

How difficult was the install?

Just picked her up yesterday. Completely new to Silverados. I wasn’t thinking half ton, but they were so aggressive with the offers, that there was only about a $1000 difference from the Colorado I was looking at. Loving the truck so far.
