  1. @GTPprix I just wanted to thank you as I received my cluster back, and I’m super excited to do the install this weekend. Thanks and glad to do business. I will say that folks should check to make sure their filtering software isn’t moving emails to trash. Also, make sure to read the thread. There are plenty of posts that give you the heads up about how to communicate with Chris and his business. Well, anyway, Can’t wait for the weekend.
  2. Pgamboa would be the guy to touch base with. He’s an electrical genius with our trucks.
  3. So I checked my junk mail, and I did get an email that said shipped. Pretty stoked. @pgamboa thanks for the vid on installation.
  4. Thanks SS502. Good to know. I’ll wait patiently but hope the misses doesn’t intercept it. Haha.
  5. Just a question for those that have done business with Chris and Wams. Do they send you a notice and tracking number once they’ve receive and completed the reprogram? I know they’re busy, so do t want to send him too many emails. I figured I’d ask here first. Ty.
  6. Cluster has been sent to WAMS and super excited, but waiting patiently, to get it back. Such a cool mod. Thanks to companies like WAMS for giving us options for all kinds of mods.
  7. So I’m definitely doing this mod. Purchased off of the same eBay seller that has surplus 2018 units that have been verified new. I just have to email WAM when their ordering opens up. I was hoping to ask my fellow forum members a few questions. First, when you guys go into the dealer for something, can we( and should we) put the old cluster back in to avoid any potential dealer issues? Secondly, when I send the email to Chris, I know I have to give my vin, but do I need to list mods like Ltz tail lights, Dqs mirrors, heated steering wheel, and intellihaul front camera(maybe for camera)? I’m not sure, but I want to make sure. I hope this isn’t a totally stupid question. Ty guys.
  8. Well damn...I bought one last night from eBay. The seller was offering 10% off and I had a $5 coupon, so I purchased the model listed as working for an 18 gas. 84385167 I might need to rent a room off is someone if my wife finds out. Ha
  9. Of all the mods I’ve added to my truck, the heated steering wheel has been amazing. It gets pretty chilly here, and I believe it’s one of the most worth while mods out there.
  10. Oh man....I shouldn’t be reading this thread. My wife’s going to divorce me if I add anything else to my truck....
  11. Here’s a little better pic of High Country Tails.
  12. No. I purchased the GM echomaster -intellihaul front kit. I know there are kits that are cheaper, but I didn’t want to mess with programming anything.
  13. Not yet. It’s on the list, but I spent a big part of yesterday replacing DL3 mirrors with DQS and installing new door speakers. Next up is the front camera setup.
  14. Much like many others have already done, this is just a pic of the DL3 to DQS results. I really appreciate the added functionality of the DQS mirrors thus far. Thanks to @pgamboa for the harness
  15. Not a great pic, but at least it’s something. Look so much better in person.
  16. Sorry about that. I don’t have a before, but I’ll try to get a pic of high country tails. Today i I went from DL3s to DQS mirrors and threw new front door speakers in for good measure. DQS mirrors are a huge difference compared to DL3s.
  17. Froze my a$$ off but finally got the LTZ/High Country tail lights in from Alexg using pgamboa’s harness. They really are a huge improvement over the standard LT tails. Next up, replacing DL3 mirrors with DQS mirrors and new speakers in front door. Hopefully Thursday.
  18. I think he bought them on eBay. There is a member here that comes across them used. @alexg I’d try shooting him a message.. You’ll then need @pgamboa ‘s harness. Good luck.
  19. Wow....truly amazing. Please post the finished product. If you put this much effort into the frame, the rest will be amazing.
  20. I mentioned Phil’s harness to another member in a different thread. I think folks assumed that adjustable pedals mean the wire is there, but I have a buddy with the pedals and no plug. I’m not sure if the member discovered a plug or not.
  21. Donstar. Did you go with the intellihaul camera, and how do you like it? Where did you route the camera wire? Ty
  22. I’m very interested in this product. I don’t quite have a feel for the front end yet, so this would be nice for parking in tight spots. A couple of questions. Have there been any issues for anyone that has had them installed for a while? Did anyone route the wire someplace other than that big rubber plug? I don’t really want to cut that. Ty
  23. I’ve only had it on the truck for a few hours, but in my limited testing it seems to cycle from mildly warm to moderately warm....I wouldn’t say hot but definitely noticeable. I tried different hand placements and noticed it. I thought I was imagining, but Phil confirmed it above, so he knows what he’s talking about. Either way, it will come in handy. The heated wheel I added also seems to be slightly thicker and softer to the touch than my old wheel. I’m not sure if that’s related to the heat or not.
