  1. Yeah dude I'm having the same problem with my truck but now my tail light went out all together with two brand new bulbs so something in the wiring or my sockets. Cuz when I replace my top tail light the sockets were so corroded I couldn't get the light bulbs out but now left turn signal failure. Is on all the time. So it's got to be somewhere in The wiring. Or bad relay some where
  2. Yes I drive it in m5 most of the time. Drives absolutely better 100% like a normal truck
  3. Thank you for your advice man I appreciate it could alot. Yeah there so much that goes in to the system. That beyond me and my skill sets. But ain't no dummy either. But I will look into what you suggested and hopefully can figure this thing out
  4. I dunno. It was driving like complete garbage before i put the air filter on. That's the reason iput it on. there is absolutely no reason for that truck to be dropping in cylinders when you're driving in City traffic. I don't care what anybody says it's not good for it and it's not good for gas mileage at all. There something not right. And i can't handle it anymore. I hate it! Wish i did my research bout AFM dod. Before i bought this truck. We should have to buy a range or a disabler because Chevy wants to try some new energy-saving bullshit
  5. Thanks for the info.
  6. Yes I've asked around quite a bit. And everybody's told me there's only comes on at highway speeds. But mine it dries very rough it's bog down when in 4 cylinders. And then when you jump back that ate the transmission don't seem to know what gear to go in sometimes. It's makes for terrible driving cause i can really feel it. plus I just got a oil change not too long ago and I had to add a quart of oil to it so I was wondering if it was burning up oil cause of it also. It only has 46000 miles on it. and I'm so sick of it I'm about ready to trade it in and get a new one without AFM.
  7. Is it possible for my 2015 Chevy Silverado to have a stuck lifter and not thru any type of codes up? Does any one else have an issue with it constantly dropping down to 4 cylinders. Even when your only going 20 to 40 mph? I mean literally it does it constantly! It pisses me off. And I took it to Chevy today and had them check everything and they told me there was nothing wrong with it and tried to blame the bad shifting and bog down feeling of motor to being cause i drive it in auto and not in just 2 wheel drive. And also tried to tell me it was because my cold air intake on my filter! Which is total B's cause i bought the cold air I'm take thinking it might help with the terrible response time of tranny and motor. But didn't help
  8. Yeah ok thanks to all the guys that have been thru all these problems due to the AFM. I BOUGHT MY FIRST NEWER TRUCK LAST YEAR 2015 Chevy Silverado 5.3 4x4. And as soon as I made it final on the truck that it didn't seem right the way it drove. The God damn AFM literally is going in and out of 4 cylinders , doesnt matter what speed I'm going. And then when I get back on the gas, it's like the transmission doesnt know what gear it wants to go in. And either shift way down or way high. And when its going in and out of 4 cylinders it drives very laggy! Its seriously Its driving me absolutely crazy. Truck only has 46000miles on it. And think God I read this stuff cause I went to a mechanic that wasn't a Chevy dealer because first time I took to Chevy told them to look and check it out the afm. They wouldn't drive it or acknowledge what i told them that there was a problem. So thank God it's under warranty. Cause mechanic I talked to said he's done 100s of lifters on these shitty chevys with afm
