Definitely glad I did the upgrade. I am still in search of a floor console for my truck. I have the floor shifter for the 4wd and 60/40 front seat. any ideas?
Hello. i had the same situation with my 201 crew cab. i purchased a bumper online with the oem foglight cutouts, and had it painted. i then purchased a set of fog lights, and used the GEN5DIY wiring harness to have the lights come on with my lowbeams. no dash switch needed, and i am very pleased with it. simple swap to do.
so i am wondering if they use the clips, or if the holes are threaded? anyone with fog lights, can you get a picture from under the bumper and post it?
Hi all. I am looking to add fog lights to my 2018 Silverado. I cant seem to find the part numbers for the fog light bolts, and clips, used to hold them into the brackets.
anyone out there have that info?
also, where is a good place to find an oem bumper, without paying an arm and a leg for it?
thanks!
do you happen to have a list of part numbers you had to purchase to do this? i see there are alot of screws behind the bumper, and not sure what to purchase at this point. i need to get a color matched bumper with the fogs, and that harness you mention.
do you have any additional info, pictures, etc on how you did this? i like the location you used, since buying an oem bumper with the cutouts can get expensive. i'd love to do this, and be able to use the wiring harness that is offered online, that when your headlights are on, the fogs are as well. trying to find aftermarket lights, to fit in that location, that use the oem style plug is not easy. all help is greatly apprecitated!
Will this also work with a 2018 Silverado Custom? I've been told, its not that easy to add fog lights to this model....different wiring harness installed in my truck???
