  1. Love the wheels on your truck, you say that they are 17x9 et-6 Pro Comps - but I can't find the "et-6" model wheels anywhere on the Procomp website. Could your wheels be the 45 or the 69 series?  They look like the 45 series.

    Thanks.

  2. Looks really good. Take the air dam off. I did - makes the truck look so much better without that cheap plastic hanging down. I think it visually raises and lightens the front end. Still need to level mine out.
  3. Looks great. Do you have any closer side shots that show off the wheels?
  4. After working all day Saturday to put all my new black parts on - took it out for some pictures.
  5. Got my extra grill back from the painter. Planning to put it on tomorrow. Midnight Denali.
  6. Went out and purchased most of the parts I need to replace my Denali Chrome. My attempt to create a “Midnight” Denali. Hope to get this on the truck this weekend. The grill is at the painters this week getting painted black.
  7. Dang it, my new 2018 GMC Denali with about 3,000 just started shuddering tonight on the highway at about 62mph. Dang. I love this truck but now I feel it has a disease. I guess I will call the dealer tomorrow.
  8. First snow in a couple of years here in suburban Seattle - got 10 inches last night! Got up early to get some pictures in the dark. (BTW, let me know if I am posting too much here...) Out on Novelty Hill Road at 7am - it should be a mile long bumper to bumper traffic, I stopped the truck got out and took a picture. Surprised that King County actually plowed this road. I think they have about 3 plows in the whole county. Snow in my 22s.
  9. Sorry, I think it only works for the bridges. You can’t use the luxury toll lanes. I think the discount is time dependent. It’s on the Good to Go site.
  10. Yes I will certainly be voting for the $30 tabs. Thankfully, I live 1 mile outside the RTA boundary so still only pay about $90 per car. If I lived in the RTA I would not have a 2018 Sierra but would still drive my 02 Suburban. I use Good to Go for the 520 bridge, I registered my plates on Good to Go - gives me a discount and automatic billing. I am not putting a tracking box on my vehicle - so I stay out of out the millionarie tool lanes. Love this state - hate the government - and it is getting worse and worse.
  11. It looks good. When I “level” my truck I want a little rake to remain. I have a 4 inch difference front to rear - that’s really bumming me out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. We should get Tim Eyman to run a “no front license plate” initative. That would mess up all the tolling they have set up in the state. Fun times. When I got my new truck I ran it without plates till the very last day the temps expired. Loved running 520 and 405 “toll” lanes for free. I hate that they track us everywhere. 13. Marymoor Park Number 2: 2018 GMC Denali with birch trees. Not as white or vibrant as Ansel Adams Aspen's. I need to come back here in the summer when the sun bleaches these out more white. Maybe a good subject for night light painting.
  14. Out at Marymoor Park in Redmond WA this foggy overcast morning. Wishing for the summer to come, which in the PNW is still a ways off.
  15. Thanks. Outside Duvall on a short dirt road. Still looking at a level - probably Suspension Max. I think I will black it out first and then think about new wheels and tires. My current favorites are the GMC OEM 20x9 - 5 spoke black wheels you see on the Elevation Edition (just like Crazyjoker77's truck above). I really like how they look - simple, clean. Got any suggestions for a local shop in the Puget Sound to do the level - that they would know what they are doing with the Magnetic Ride?
  16. Out and about this morning.
  17. How did you do it - plastidip, vinyl?
  18. Yes, as the saying goes “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”. I liked what you did with your truck, I wondered if just painting the chrome surround on the grill would look good - yours does. BTW do you have any better pictures of the front of your truck? Still trying to decide if I need to go with black wheels, I like your with the std 22” chrome wheels.
  19. Those are really nice. They are also very spendy $$$ at almost $600/wheel from GMC. Wow! I like my wheels but was trying to get away from 22" rims - I really want to get some 18" in an effort to get more rubber, but I really like the Method 605's and they only come in 20". They have a good size lip. Maybe 20" would be a good compromise.
  20. I have been playing in Photoshop with GMC's marketing image. To my taste, I really think the current truck has too much chrome. Trying to dial it back. I wanted to create more of a "midnight" version of my Denali without going full-black out (Murdered). Midnight Denali - Black Skid Plate, Blacken the chrome surround on the grill, black mirror caps, black door handles, back out the chrome step and black 20" wheels but may go with 18". I want to leave a little chrome - the center of the grill, the trim on the windows and maybe the door strip. Also, I want to pick up the red in the GMC logo with red tow hooks. This is what I am thinking, will probably put it together over the next couple of months. Here is the standard stock image, for comparison.
  21. Thanks. To be honest my truck was pretty dirty when I took these shots, I think it was a least 2 weeks since I last washed it. I really don't think you need to ensure it's perfect unless it is a bright sunny day and you are close to the truck with the camera. I am going to see how far I can push the truck being dirty and still having an acceptable picture.
  22. Is CST really relevant to this thread? I don’t think you can run this with the magnetic ride control. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. I believe I took tire size into account. Remember, my truck is a Denali with the magnetic ride control suspension. That could be a difference - maybe it rides an inch lower? If so then you would have a level.
