  1. On mine it was the antenna inside the door. There was a bad seal which allowed the antenna to get wet causing it to malfunction. HTH
  2. OK, so one month later and GMC replaced the seat memory control module and also found the rear window had a leak, which they then sealed. They were skeptical about the SMCM but must have looked it up as well. Since the repairs, knock on wood, no issues even in the below freezing temps which is when I had the issue. Big shout out to Letsride thanks!!
  3. having the same issue with my 2020 2500HD Denali. First time i thought i left something on and just charged the battery. 10 days later same thing, took it to the dealer and they replaced the battery and did a parasitic test. they found nothing draining it, well a week later....dead battery. At the dealership now and i will let them know about that GM bulletin about the seat memory control module. following this thread and i will report back with my results
  4. picked my truck up and asked the service tech about installing grab handles overhead. He said GM does not sell parts to install this, nor endorse this. he said check on line but doesn't believe there as any after market kits for this, and the side airbag may be in the way. So unless someone on here knows of a way to do it (please share) we are SOL.
  5. Locks are working properly, read above for the fix (at least what fixed mine)
  6. Agree with the charging pad location, sometimes I wonder what the point is to the surveys they send out. I can't imagine people suggested moving the charging pad to that location. As far as the grab handles, I believe someone mentioned it may interfere with the side airbags. I pick my truck up today and will pose that question.
  7. resurrecting this, has anyone figured out if it's possible to add the ceiling mount grab handles? especially for the passenger side DW is really missing this.
  8. so have my truck in for this button problem. GMC is telling me that there is an antenna inside the door that senses the fob, and that is what's wrong. They also said my drivers door window had been replaced since there was some shattered glass inside the door and whom ever replaced it did not replace an internal seal causing water to enter the door. They think that's what caused the malfunction with the buttons on the driver's side. so they also have to order that seal but it's not covered under the warranty. Guess this is what happens when you buy a used vehicle (especially with low miles). Can't imagine that rain/water would have broken that antenna/feature in 13,400 miles!! When i pick the truck up i will question them more.
  9. Nothing yet. I’m still within the warranty and soon will need an oil change. I’ll have them look at it then and post the “cure”
  10. I'm having a similar issue with my 2020 Sierra HD Denali. The doors will lock/unlock on both passenger door buttons, but not on either driver side doors!! any thoughts? TIA
  11. let us know if it fixes the camera problem. i have a 18 Sierra SLT CC and the camera is ok during the day but at night is terrible, as if overexposed, way to bright and at times makes it difficult to back up. next oil change i will also mention this.
