2017 Silverado 5.3. 6speed. Afe Cai, range afm delete, borla s-type cat back split sides.i have 23000 kms on my baby. On 20s w 33.5 nittos rg. I have gone thru 6 injectors in last 3 months. If I shift to low d1. N 2 foot it to try n light them up. I get a choked out bog when floored let go of break an truck barely rolls away like it's dead or mega limp mode. Used to lay rubber any time anywhere or gear or 2 footing or not. Now f+*+ all ??? Any ideas why? Torque converter ? I'm lost. Dealer ship say it's fine but a 2017 w 23000 k that can't do a burn out ? Wtf not to mention I couldn't pull a 19ft bayliner up a boat launch in summer with out having to 4 low it when 2wdr in past was never an issue.. ?? Pls. Lmk ur opinions and possible directions I shud take do or look for. Thanks in advance..

16 days ago truck thru cel ran rough no power shifted hard.. warranty we go. Bad #8 injector. 300$ later all good last week same ****** even worse. . Took back same ****** bad # 3 , 5 ,6 20% less volume need replace aswell #8 replace 30% over flow. $1000 later It runs smooth. But if I 2 foot it I rev out at the floor 1200rpm 0 break free burn out jus a dog. Cudnt pull boat up launch no balls even in 4x4. Is it my injectorS again or torque converter.. Truck used ta do a 1/4 mile break stand.. now I gotta have help pulling my 19ft boat up a ramp. Wtf.. I'm lost here.. Truck runs fine on streets but lacks the beast it used to be.. 2017 Silverado 5.3 CIA, borla exhaust. 21000 kms. Any and all input welcomed.. thanks guys..

Mines in fulltime on my 2017. I've tested in an out hiway n city driving. Mpo is minimal mpg change if any but love the response with it in . I hate the up n down shift lag off. I feel at some point it will pre maturely wear my tranny out shifting so much.. just my opinion..

Spend the $ borla cat back s type. You will love it no flap bs. Jus pick the style out dual side , straight bak or both side. It's jus right. City hiway towing ya hear it but not stupid. V4 drone. Get a range afm disable. Fml. Mileage is same or better than stock. N no lag or slop jus a v8 waitin for the pedal..

I have a17 5.3 . I did s type cat back both side outs. I love it imo. Touring no point n for me atak is to much. Mine did burn in say 350 ta 450kms n get deeper n growlyr. Mite do a hi flow cat or even remove. For a lil more umf n sound. Cheers jus my 2 pennies worth..

The front spin freely in 2hi. Locks up fine in 4low and 4hi. .light doent turn off. Checked dif sensor connection. All clean . Think it's probably the sensor.

i put my truck in 4 hi yesterday while on a service road. drove for bout 5 miles. stopped dis in gauged back to 2hi put in rev rolled back stopped. put in drive n drove away. now the dash 4wd light stays on for the most part . turns off sometimes when i turn right but generally just stays on. mine is a 2017 1500 wt. manual in gauge 4x4. it does go in an out of 4wd fine but the dash light doesnt and its annoying me ? any ideas what or were to look or start? i did go through a few large puddles so moisture may be my,an idea? or loose wire connection to a sensor? any and all help much appreciated. thanks

any way to change that? or anyone know of a possible sport mode? now that would be sweet..

this works.. but stabilitrack seems to kick out at bout 40-50kmh on my 2017.

not sure were in this forum i read it/saw it. but for those who never heard of this... its awesome. as we know the rear seat back doesnt fold down/just the base up. by removing the rear seat full bench or the60/40 it works the same. but once removed you will seethe 2 back hooks on bench/3 on 60/40 that lock back rest to cab. cut 2.5 inches off the tabs. no more than 2.5 in. but 2.5 seems to be the magic #. after the cut. give the tabs a small tweek out.. an reinstall. now when u fold up ur back will unlock n fold down or lock the base up w the back etc. it allows you to access behind the seat. i did my amp rack there an theres room to put whatever u like. hold seat back to wall an let base go.. full lock. love it..

i did the husky liners on my 2017. bought from amazon. hard abs. took wheel off to make life easier. too about 15mins aside. look great and was not a biggie to install. was cheaper than oem.

i did the stype cat back. split duals growly but not excessive. chrome(wanted black but no stock n250$more) did range afm delete. . love my sound with or without afm no drone. better with afm tho.. did air raid cai. love it .

i've read the clunk issue alot. i have it in mine as well. from what ive read an im gonna try is the 2.5 ubolt addon. which is basically hit ur local parts store get a 2.5in set of ubolts. put them over your leaf spring say 5.5 to 6 in in front of axel on both side .n torque to 80lbs as well as re torque your factory ubolts to min 80ftlbs to 100 max. apperently this is tried tested and works. parts are like 10$ so worth a shot.

2017 1500 . 4" bds lift kit moto metal d970 20x10 ridge grappler 33x12.5 bush wacker flares.. i love my choice.. looks n is functional. wheels are about 2" max past the flares. maybe more like 1.5-1.75 but looks sick n drives killer.. love the tires awesome on freeway great in city an wet so far no issues.. the snow will be the test..

if its not a major issue add small spacer imo. i went w the lift vs level to get the wider rim tire look i wanted. if its only rubbing a bit on full turn?? thats minimal and youll probably work around it knowing its there. just my 2 pennies worth
