Hey Cody, I just ordered KICKER SSICRE14. Deciding if i should take it to an audio shop or install it myself. How difficult was it to install it?

My 2018 Gmc Sierra (55k miles) had the U1510 code this past week. I noticed the check engine light came on after heavy rain day down here in houston. Anyway...the code has to do with the Active Grille Shutter having an electrical short. Dealer quote @ $750 to replace whole unit. (Parts and labor)..i was fortunate my ext warranty covered it. I researched the part online..you can buy the part@ $220 and pay your local mechanic shop to replace unit and save $$.
