  1. So, call it bad luck, but my actuator was bad. Straight from the factory haha. The mechanic said “one in a million” haha. Anyways, that part isn’t readily available, so, they had to order it from Detroit. Had it in a couple of days and installed it in a couple of hours. Good to go now.
  2. So, My Silverado is a 2019 with 150 miles on it. I opened the fuse box under the hood and the one by the driver side door panel and neither had a listing that said HVAC. I tried googling and found nothing useful. So, I pulled anything that was 10amp and looked like it could be related to the HVAC. Anyways, I had the negative cable pulled from the battery. Waited 15 minutes and hooked it back up. Went in the truck, started it, waited a few minutes and nothing has changed....the driver side only blows cold. It won’t change up or down. Passenger side works just fine. Dealer wants me to bring it in of course. Don’t you just love owning a truck for 4 days and having to bring it back to the dealer for repair?!?!
  3. Was it the positive or negative cable? I see another post that says to pull the negative cable and you said that you pulled the positive. Thanks for any advice.
  4. Did they leave the flappers or resonator in, or did they install the full Flowmaster kit and remove the flappers?
  5. This is good stuff. I’m having an issue with my 2019 Silverado. The driver side is stuck on cold. Passenger side controls work flawlessly and will change as quickly as I change the temp. Driver side has zero fluctuation. I’m going to try these steps when I get home. Just in case my fuse numbers are different, we’re there any names/tags associated with those particular fuses? Like HVAC or something along those lines?
  6. That sucks. I’m going to try the battery reset and if that doesn’t work, I’m definitely taking it in. I will post my results here. Thanks for your update.
  7. Is this still holding up for you? I have a 2019 Silverado that I bought 4 days ago and I just now realized that my driver side is stuck on cold. This isn’t a terrible thing because I’m in Florida and it is still a million degrees outside, but since the truck has less than 40 miles on it, I’m kind of pissed haha. I’m going to disconnect the battery when I get home and see if that works. I’m at work now and it’s sitting in the parking lot, so, maybe after sitting for a few hours, it will reset on it’s own too. We shall see...
  8. I’m still undecided which route I should take. My biggest concern is the drone. Did you leave any of the flappers in, or the resonators? My 2017 had bad drone. I have a 2019 now and I’m just wondering if the DFM system is just better all around when comparing the drone to how the AFM was. Both of my trucks had/have the 5.3l
  9. That’s what I figured. So, is the Magnaflow 12909 the one for the 5.3? Also, did you go with a single exit or a dual split?
  10. Thanks! My local shop recommended the Magnaflow. I’m wondering if I go with a Flowmaster and keep the flappers, if that would sound more closely to the GM performance exhaust...
  11. I couldn’t get the links to work either. Do you have the sound clips on YouTube? I was thinking about doing a straight muffler swap too. I’m just looking for sound but don’t want the drone. My 2017 Silverado has a terrible drone with a Gibson exhaust.
