  1. i don't have the sport bar nor a tonneau cover (i'm still on the fence of whether to buy a cover or not). that being said, check out http://truckalterations.com/ to see if they carry the cover that is recommended; if you email them with what you want (so long as they carry it), they will give a good price on the item. i've reached out to them on a few things and for the tonneau cover i was looking at was $960 on amazon and they were offering it to me for $780 with free shipping
  2. Just a heads up, I went to install these covers today and the cut on them is slightly off so a small portion of the red taillight is visible underneath them on the edge. Needless to say I was disappointed. I'm returning them and waiting to see if I can find a better solution for darkening my taillights
  3. So I got impatient and chatted online with CarID. They were able to point me to the only option they offered. Here's the link for the tail light cover: https://www.carid.com/avs/tail-shades-smoke-tail-light-covers-mpn-33637.html?singleid=2290042544 My order is placed, now I just have to wait for the covers to show up.
  4. I'l would also like the link on this. Those taillights look sharp. Thanks in advance
  5. So I've been on a mission to track down installs of this mirror (84350225) before pulling the trigger. A number of folks on the Volt forum (mirror is compatible with a number of chevy vehicles), folks have been disappointed that the garage door opener is detachable and battery operated. The big plus is that the mirror is frameless. That to me isn't enough to spend the extra $60-90 and pull the trigger, so I'm going the route of buying and installing 13581082 and just use my old school garage remote clipped onto my visor. Thanks to all who helped pull this tutorial together.
  6. I'm wondering the same thing as I want to do a plug and play and not worry about splicing with the Gentex. Just for clarification, does the 13581082 come with the wire connector?
  7. Thanks. That may very well be the next thing I jump on along with a smart rearview mirror
  8. Not a great pic, but I put on the GoRhino RB20 bedliner finish running boards and a short stock antenna tonight. First 2 mods for my 20LTTB. I'm hooked now and contemplating what the next mod will be.
  9. Has anyone had any luck finding the square plugs? I have the round ones coming tomorrow but haven't been able to find a solution for the square ones yet
  10. Random question here, but has anyone put on the Tyger Star Armored side rails for a 2018 Silverado onto a 2020 Silverado? Basically, will the old 2018 rails for the new 2020. I know they say they aren't compatible from the online sites. I'm entertaining buying a used set from a buddy who is getting rid of his 2018 truck to put them on mine. The kicker is, it's a couple hours away and I'm trying to do my homework to save me some time with the drive if they don't work....or significant money if they will work.
  11. I just bought and returned the xl2. I have an LT Trail Boss and they sat way too low to the ground. If I had a 6 inch lift, they might have been alright. The aggressive look is nice but they are way too large in my opinion for this size of a truck
