  1. What did you end up doing with this plug? i popped my plug out and am waiting to put it back to see if anyone has done a mod to this part of the truck
  2. i attached a cord holder to the exterior of the blank plug with some gorilla glue. since i'm transitioning to wireless android auto, i removed the cord holder and then was working the gorilla glue excess off with some nail polish remover when apparently i pushed to hard on the plug and it popped off inside the housing. i'm a bit shocked that the plug popped inside relatively easily but then again maybe it's not as shocking
  3. Alright, so I accidentally popped out my cap/plug for where the integrated trailer brake controller would be if i had that equipped on my 2020 LT Trail Boss. It's just a faceplate plug with no functionality. While i have the plug popped out and i have the cable accessible, has anyone done any mods to this part of the truck? i'm looking for ideas here before i decide to buy a new faceplate plug and put it back in.
  4. i went with this bad boy and haven't had any reception issues https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RXRNTW8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  5. Looks slick! This what I love about this forum. Until I saw this post, I didn't know I needed the bed rail lettering! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  6. I have both and am really happy with it. I got the auto stop first because I hated having to hit the button each every time I started my truck. Install was very easy if you watch the YouTube videos. If youre interested in this, I'd recommend emailing the owner as he will sometimes through in a code to save you some $. I then ordered the obdii module since I wanted to eliminate the dfm. I'm happy with how it operates. I figured if I ever wanted to remove it I could to have the benefits of dfm while maintaining the auto stop. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  7. Looks good. Where did you get the lights? Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  8. I looked into this as well when I got my truck. I was told by a number of folks that the older model running boards wouldn't work on the new model. That being said, I went with these: https://leonardaccessories.com/product/nerf-bars-running-boards-go-rhino-rb20 (powder coat/Bedliner finish) You can usually find a coupon for 10-15% off which makes the cost a little more tolerable. 9. I went with the 3D domed letters with trim from BDtrims on Amazon (black with silver outline). I'm happy with how they turned out. Btw, I had some issues with a few of the letters having bubbles in them. I reached out to BDtrims on the issue and they sent replacement letters right out to me. Great customer service. 10. Thanks. I didnt read your earlier post about the f150 lights having 3m tape. Here I was thinking you still had to attached them like the other version. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  11. Has anyone done this on a Silverado LTTB grill? I'm interested in doing this but want to see if how folks have handled attaching the lights to the LTTB style grill Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  12. Just got done painting the exhaust tips gloss black with some high heat spray paint and primer and plasti-dipped the badging on the tailgate. Pretty happy with the way it turned out for being only $15 worth of materials. Thanks to the folks on here for making it easy to remove and reinstall the exhaust tips with the thorough instuctions. I'm not sure I would have figured that whole process out on my own! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  13. What rims do you have? Those look sharp Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  14. Well done and looks awesome. I'm on the fence of getting that kit. I'll be interested to know if you notice any mpg improvement or better response with the engine. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
