  1. Ok, that’s what I said, you can get the longer shocks for another $2k, but the standard kit comes with spacers. I chose to order custom 5” lift coil overs to pick the front up a bit more instead. Not sure what we’re talking about. [emoji2371] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. What are you looking at? The coil overs? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Yeah no doubt you can order longer Fox shocks, but they don’t come with the standard 4” kit. I’m running Fox rears with custom 5” lift coil overs coming next month Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Not a longer shock, they space the top of the strut, but everything else is right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. I don’t think changing the UCAs is needed. The BDS lift will increase your front track width about an inch or 1.5”. I have a buddy with a leveled AT4 and while he’s about as high as me up front, my front width is noticeably wider and I think looks much better. The UCAs help with various things but a big one being correcting angles when you lift the front without dropping the front diff, just a matter of geometry because of how the control arms swing in as you increase droop. I’m running the 6.2 and my tires are about 72lbs each, I could feel the difference but the truck has plenty of power - I’m running the 10 speed tranny though which helps a bunch. If you’re running the 5.3 with the 8 speed I’d probably try to stay in a lighter tire. Just 10 pounds makes a big difference. You’d pull the AT3 ok, but you’ll feel it. My Ridge Grapplers are 12 ply and it hits hard on bumps, kind of wish I’d gone with the AT3, may switch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. I’m running the 4” BDS kit, stock UCAs with Fox rear shocks, custom powder coated chartreuse yellow. What’s cool with the BDS it the 4” kit and 6” kit are basically the same. I could swap rear blocks, U-bolts and plate, and front spacers and got to 6”. I’m running 35x12.50s on stock 20s right now with no running (minimal trimming). It sits perfectly level. I’ll be swapping to custom set Fox coil overs later in the year and plan to set them around a 5” lift, should give me a good stance, look badarse, and improve ride. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. My 2019 with a 6.2L and 10spd has just over 26k on, pulling 35x12.50s for most of its life. No issues at all, love this truck. The anti-lock brake issue was a pain. I have a few seat squeaks that I’m chasing. Otherwise it’s been rock solid. Half those miles have been pulling a 24’ pontoon, or trailer loaded with ATVs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Have a ‘19 SLT that has the rear cam and blind spot/parking radar all the way around. Can I add the side and front cameras? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I’m running these same tires on an SLT with a 4” lift (OEM 20s). What air pressure are you running? These F rated tires seem to ride best for me about 37psi up front and 32psi rear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. In case anybody was wondering for sure, these will fit a GMC Sierra as well. Put mine on today. If you want to keep the rubber dust cover you can, but there is a trick to it. You have to take factory tow hook out. Pull the boot out. Put the new tow hook in through the bumper from the back side. Line it up then slide it up inside the frame rail, all the way in where you have to reach in with your finger to get it out. Then put the rubber boot back in place. Then reach through from the front bumper through the boot, and pull the new tow hook through them both. It’s a bit hard, you have to work it back through, but it will go. Once it slides through bolt it up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. What’s the purpose of the override? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Sierra mount holes are actually vertical. The hook turns on the GMC by 90 degrees, but mounts the same way. Given these trucks share a frame I have to think the only question is bumper shape, right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. Many of those features are controlled by the CPU. Unhooking the switch means they’ll basically by ON all the time. Range Technology and some others have accessories you can buy to disable Auto S/S. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  21. Yeah at that I’d just keep on trucking boss Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Yep. It is actually the same hardware as a 6” lift. Only difference is it uses shorter spacers and blocks. In theory I could swap U bolts in the rear, change the leaf spring plate. Then just drop in the 6” front spacers and 4” rear blocks and I’d be running the 6” lift kit. As a matter of fact in the instructions it’s the same kit, just a few parts noted as different for the 4” vs 6” kit. Next spring I’m converting to coil overs up front and going to have them custom set at about 4.75”, raise the front just a little so it has a slight squat. Not much. 23. Yeah you can, it just takes some work. A cross member is not a space ship. Depending on the year it either unbolted, then they just cut off an inch or two for clearance. Or they cut it out completely. Either way a good fab shop can weld one back in. I mean shops can shorten or lengthen frames, fix cars hit in the B pillar, etc. Replacing a cross member isn’t hard. Just have to have the right shop do it. I mean this guy hacked one back together in his garage. I’d do it differently, but hey... guess it works. A good fab shop can hook you up. 24. No they aren’t. The tow loop is vertical, but the mounts are horizontal. The loop turns 90 degrees. Check your mounts they will be horizontal where they bolt on. You’ll have to get under the bumper to see it, it’s behind that little rubber boot thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
