  1. I converted a trailer light tester by adding 3 200 ohm 5 watt resistors between the two turn signal wires and the brake light wires all to ground. Now my 2023 truck thinks there is a trailer behind the truck all the time.
  2. My 2019 High County is now running 18” wheels and 5100 shocks in the rear. Way better compared to stock. I run about 32 PSI all around when not towing.
  3. I happen to own a 2019 with a 5.3-liter V8 engine with dynamic fuel management. In winter, does it seam to warm up way faster than your other vehicles, fairly typical or way slower?
  4. Playing with the new drone. 2019 High Country.
  5. I posted a pic of my High Country with 18s a few pages back on the show us pics of 19 and later trucks thread. Way better ride now. Same gray paint.
  6. Changing from the original High Country 22" wheels to 18" factory takeoffs was a huge improvement in the handling of this truck. I saved 18.5 lbs per corner. Running 32 PSI now that I have a sidewall to work with. The Bilstein rear shocks are on order. I came from a 2019 ZR2. Note that I define good handling in a truck as it tracks just fine wile cornering when hitting bumps, potholes a large dips. The rear suspension should never move side to side or shudder when hitting impacts like pot holes. This is the highspeed damping in the shock designer world. Wheel weight has a huge affect in this. The more weight that has to get over the pot hole edge must be all controlled by the shock. The rear axle weight hurts these trucks. The entire chassis should never give a floaty feed when hitting large dips at higher speeds. This is defined as low speed damping to the shock engineers. The ZR2 was simply amazing with all of this stuff. $4000 shocks sure help.
  7. I have a 2019 High Country. I traded off the 22 inch wheels for a set of 18s. The truck rides and drives way better now. Bling or utility, pick one.
  8. I traded in a 2019 ZR2 for a 2019 High Country. The ZR2 was hands down the best handling truck I have ever owned. The High Country was the worst by far. I have replaced the 22s wheels with 18s. That alone was a huge improvement. Each corner lost 18# of pure unsprung weight. Now I have ordered a set of Bilstein rear shocks. Hopefully I can get this thing more reasonable. I can hardly believe this truck was released from the same engineering department. The S2000 is my backup autocross car. <<<< Added>>>>> Note that I define good handling in a truck as it tracks just fine wile cornering when hitting bumps, potholes a large dips.
