  1. Yes I bolted up 1500 mirrors on my 2020 HD with no problem. The mount is the same. The 1500 mirrors are much worse to actually use as they now have a much lower stance but I agreed, the tow mirrors hide a lot in their blindspots.
  2. I've tried the following but it doesn't seem to be working...Why can't we just shine a light on the dash ambient daylight sensor to trick it into thinking it's daytime for the few times we need to turn lights off? I don't understand why mine isn't working unless my flashlight isn't the right color temp or too bright. We could easily rig up a light system that would lay on top of the ambient sensor if this would work. Anyone tried it?
  3. I've had my 2014 6.2L for a few years now and I'm planning a tune. The only reservation I have is, on the last page of my owner's manual, someone stuck an HPTuners sticker on it AND I've hit 130mph with no problem before...If someone removed the speed limiter, what are the chances my ECM would be locked and I couldn't tune with Blackbear? Can you just remove a speed limiter with HP Tuner?
  4. Yes, everything I saw would indicate the tow mirrors should bolt right up to the 1500.
  5. I dont think they look awful or anything. They are definitely lower hung than my 2014 1500 truck though. Doesnt seem to be a safety issue as I can see plenty fine. The only thing I miss about the tow mirrors is the awesome blindspot curved mirror. I just added my own little blindspot stick-on mirror though. Now I can finally see people at an intersection! Those tow mirrors are a massive blindspot on their own. Not to mention, the truck went from 105" wide to 99" wide at the mirrors. That will certainly help on all the narrow back roads I drive.
  6. I installed the 1500 mirrors on my 2020 2500 today. Super easy clean swap. Plug & Play.
  7. As Info, I removed my tow mirrors from my 2020 Silverado 2500 today and installed the regular 1500 mirrors. Clean swap, plug & play.
  8. I'm wanting to do this as well. These mirrors are ridiculously huge, have a massive blindspot when you're at an intersection and they pop out in a car wash to name a few things I hate about them. Has anyone tried to install the 1500 mirrors? It does appear that with the appropriate adapter, the 1500 mirrors will install...
