  1. I bought my new truck in August and the exact same thing has happened at least 3 times that I remember.
  2. I came from an '18 3.5 Ecoboost with the 10 speed and the transmission in my GMC is smoother (I guess they're supposed to be the same - or at least developed together). Power-wise, the 5.3 has been plenty for me.
  3. Figured it out. The key fob the dealer had marked as number 1 was actually number 2. Good times!
  4. Thanks, that's what I did in the vehicle settings, followed from the owner's manual. I have both seat entry and exit turn on. I'm going to go try and clear the current settings and start over.
  5. I tried the search button, but couldn't find my particular issue. I went into the vehicle settings and enabled auto memory seats. When I drive, turn the truck off, and then open the driver's side door, my seat goes to the exit position automatically. I thought that when I got into the truck and start it up, that it was supposed to go to my memory driving position (1). Mine doesn't, so I have to manually push the (1) button to get to the right position. I know, first world problems, but wasn't sure if I'm doing something wrong or if that is the way I'm supposed to do it. Thanks in advance
  6. I agree, I had the Bakflip Revolver and while it looked nice, caused me nothing but issues, particularly in cold weather. The plastic clips on the rails would come off or break when you use it alot. With my new Sierra, I went with the MX4 and have no problems at all, and the auto tailgate comes down just fine. It's just as sturdy and I think you can even load about 400 lbs on it if necessary? (never tried or probably will)
  7. I just came over from an F150 that had it, and I must say that it is hardly noticeable in the GMC compared to my previous truck. I keep mine engaged unless I'm in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
  8. Thanks for the tip Brian, I'll give it a shot!
  9. I just got the Bakflip MX4 installed. I noticed that I have to open the inner tailgate to pop open the back of the tonneau to get the rest of the tailgate to come down. I don't know if that's just the way it is, but it seems to be a minor inconvenience. Love the seal on it; my previous truck had the Bakflip Revolver, but since I used it a lot the plastic clips for the rails would come off or break.
  10. If you're willing to travel from CA to ID, there are several SLTs here like you describe. I bought mine 2 weeks ago, same config, about 12K off MSRP.
  11. Just picked mine up last week. Came from almost 20 years worth of F-150s, love the GMC! 2020 SLT, added matched tint on the front windows, tint visor, OEM mats, and next week the Bakflip MX4.
