  1. Cat efficiency below threshold. Figure out what bank first. Swap post cat O2 side to side: does the efficiency fault follow the sensor or remain in the original bank? If remains, look into your cat. If it moves, replace the O2 sensor.
  2. Disregard my original comment. Weird this forum doesn't allow posts to be deleted.
  3. That's a copy past of mine. 6 speed myself as well.
  4. KNP - HD AUX TRANS. COOLING SYS
  5. As mentioned, neither do I. As well, two small diameter go to condensor. Double check your two larger diameter on the pass side, I bet they actually go to the radiator.
  6. Just walked out to our 19 Tahoe with aero, tow package (not max trailer). Based or RPO we have aux trans and aux oil coolers. Pass side: Two larger diameter go to the radiator for aux oil cooling. One small diameter is trans to condensor supply. Driver side: Condenser trans return KC4 - oil cooling system KNP - HD aux trans cool Z82 - trailering equipment NP0- single speed t-case
  7. Driver side oil cooler?
  8. FWIW Same drive, same amb temps, stock tune = relatively constant ATF temp freeway with ability to shed a degree or two on light downgrades; overall ATF temp to my door net 12F lower.
  9. What happened to your trans temps after the tune? Asking because after turning off TM and increasing line pressure 5%, my trans temps increased. (Diablo entune I3)
  10. @CamGTP TM = on didnt help. It was already "heat soaked" but I put the line pressure back to stock. Cruising I was able to shed some heat but at idle and light accel was gaining. Resorted everything back to stock and shall see what happens. About 20k ago I did a 6qt rejuiv on the ATF and sent a sample out to Blackstone. Blackstone said the sample I sent in looked great (questioned it being new). Was thinking of doing another 6qt exchange in the next month or two.
  11. Thank you, that was exactly my plan for tomorrow - TM going back on and I'll keep the +5% to see what happens. I was thinking it had to have been slip, couldn't imagine what else would be causing heat under those specific conditions when cruising doesn't generate much more. Shall see how the ATF behavior changes based off the one change. Thank you
  12. Merry Christmas everyone. Got an intune i3 during black friday to get rid of the crap idle (really all I wanted it for). After messing around with it I ended up turning torque managment off and I increased shift pressure across the board about 5%. Prior to, my trans temps would be 120 with amb temps around 50/60 degrees. Since the parameter changes in seeing a consistently higher temp from the trans. The few degrees freeway isn't much of concern, but I did want to ask and hear what others experiences are with city driving temps after increasing the line pressure. I'm gaining a few degrees at idle (in gear) and I'm gaining a few degrees during light acceleration. I'm not able to shed any once reaching cruising speeds so the slight temp gains simply compound on each other. My usual drive profile now results in a 150F doorstop temp vs my usual mid 120s. Anyone have thoughts, experiences or first hand insight? I expected some increase in temps but honestly wasnt expecting what I am seeing. Thanks for the comments! 2019 Tahoe 5.3l 6 speed with grill shutters
  13. Specifically speak rear coils: Anyone know what the coil spring rate differences are on the different coils/trims (no mag ride)? Are the coil lengths different? Trims: ZW7, Smooth ride package (aann, aatw) Z85, increased capacity package (aarb, aatz) Z71, offroad package (????) Thank you
  14. The new tstat is stamped 135 vs the original 180 FYI
  15. My condenser cooled ATF is built with shutters.
  16. Thank you for checking and confirming this, the more we know!
  17. So I'm led even more so believe that the 180 marked on the OE stat is start to open when stats have historically been about 15 or so start to full (194 -15 = 179). The stamped 70 reverses this role obviously as 70c = 158f. You can disassemble the new housing and reporting what's stamped on the stat, disassembly is extremely easy. Iv been a believer that the thermostat is labeled start to open temps.
  18. I'm under the understanding the start to open temp on the original stat is 180. My katech engine thermostat is labeled 79C which is its start to open temp.
  19. Original stat from my 19 Tahoe.
  20. Good to know. I was exchanging some DMs while back and the person I was talking with didnt have shutters in their Silverado.
  21. Another thing to note: This thread is universal across two platforms. The Silverado, from my understanding, does NOT have grill shutters. The Tahoe (at least mine) does have grill shutters. So we need to ensure those providing details include or comment on their platform so we dont have apples to oranges comparisons going on.
