  1. Second truck, second DiamondBack cover. I will never own anything else. My use is for hauling ATV/SXS. This is the best investment I've made in an accessory for the truck. You will not be disappointed.
  2. www.diamondbackcovers.com
  3. Find yourself one of the old recoil type under hood lights from the 90s GM trucks from a wrecker and change the bulb to an led. Now you have something practical.
  4. Something that I learned is watch the temperatures. I had one that was quite hot and 3 much cooler. The brakes were not adjusted right. The hot tire the brakes were way too tight and the 3 cool ones were barely providing any braking force. Once all 4 were adjusted correctly the braking of the trailer was dramatically improved and lower the temp on that one hot wheel.
  5. Were did you mount your fill valves?
  6. Had the recall software installed. I want to thank General Motors for keeping my truck up to date and operating safely. I now understand what a Ford owner feels like by getting such shitty fuel economy. Instantly dropped by 3-4 l/100 km. I was hoping that it would get better like it did after 5000km when new. I have an Edge CTS3 monitor installed, the EGTs are running higher on normal cruise, but cooler during a burn. I also do burns at least twice as often as before the upate. Thank you GM for screwing us during the highest fuel cost ever.
  7. I used this video to figure things out. Its pretty easy.
  8. Took the truck for an oil change and the guys spotted an drivers inside front axle seal leak. They had the parts and were able to get it done today (surprise). Talking to the service guy and the mechanic, this isn't the first one they have done. Mechanic said he's done 8 - 10 himself. It was covered under warranty, but check your trucks. Get it dealt with before it becomes a problem.
  9. Can't tie directly into the cargo light wiring, there isn't enough voltage to that wire to power everything. You will need to use a relay and use the existing cargo light power as your trigger.
  10. Look at Diamondback box covers
  11. Anyone using Pacbrake bags? Cheaper than Firestone and Airlift, but haven't seen any reviews of them
  12. I've wired a switch to disable the centre section of the tailgate. Just a water proof switch and it intercepts a wire in the harness to the tailgate. This is the link that I used to figure the wiring https://www.tailgatefix.com/pages/installation-faqs
  13. Have you used a relay or are you trying to power them directly off the cargo lights?
  14. Any idea how big of a card can be used? I have a 32GB in right now working, but tried a 128GB and won't work.
  15. It's just a switch. It interrupts the center tailgate switch so it won't drop down on the trailer hitch when it is installed.
