The custom is body colored, work truck is just black

Exactly what happened to me, although mine wouldn't start back up. 130 miles on the truck.. Battery cable to Fuse Block was the culprit. was not tight from the factory and started melting the fuse block. ;(.

Looks like they gave me the ones for the GMC Sierra, not the ones for the Silverado.. so to be clear in case someone else wonders why they don't fit.. The local dealer is trying to get me the correct ones now. 84496084 = Sierra 84729676 = Silverado

thanks but still at a loss.. it seems the front and rear plastic rock protectors thing have bolts and stuff themselves. They actually dont even line up.. Called Chevy and may have the wrong part number. What I received is 84496084, can you share your part number with me?

I would suggest not using Magnaflow, I just spent 700 bucks trying 2 different ones, both sound amazing, but drone so much on the freeway it's unbearable. Something to do with the muffler being right under the cab or something. My muffler guy was trying to understand why but couldn't pinpoint it.

Thanks for the instructions.. I'm a little confused on what bolts to use where though.. Any chance there is a diagram?
