The factory pads on front and rear only lasted for about 30,000 miles on my 2020 Silverado. Replaced them with better quality pads and rotors they have last about 80,000 miles on the front so far.
Just a curious question I know when i purchased mine which had the plow prep package on it. Well they said it was set but really there was a bag of parts in my back seat storage compartment. It had some slide in connection studs for on top of the battery and a fuse as well. Did they happen to use those or one of there own kits? Where had they wired under the hood oh plus there was another wire connector harness in there for the altenator as well with a wire that connects to the solnoid so that when you lift the blade your lights don't dim?
I mainly purchased one not because i just find it annoying to press it all the time but because other family members and close friends may borrow my truck. Not all of them have these feature on there vehicle. So rather than ask them to not forget to turn it off when they get in and start it. This device turns it off automatically. I mean the light on the switch does come on during start up but the quickly goes out and states on the DIC that auto Start Stop has been turn off just the same as if you used the switch. I would also notice when it does work at times when it would start up at a stop light I would lose 2 miles less on total miles before tank goes empty. I like the device in my opinion.
