  1. I have run Goodyear Wranglers on 3 different trucks. I have never experienced loud noise at any speed. Maybe my trucks have been well sound proofed? I live in NW Washington so my windows are always rolled up. Maybe that's why I don't hear them. They have performed well on dry, wet, snow and ice. The only down side for me is they need to be replaced shortly after 40K miles. They haven't worn down to the wear bars but they lose some traction ability and break loose going uphill on wet asphalt crack sealer. That has been a bit of a nuisance as the stabil trac kicks in as the truck searches for traction. The bottom line is that I'm very pleased with these tires and have been for quite a few years. 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali
  2. I have been using Amp Research power running boards since 2012. I did the installation myself. It took a couple of hours but was very straight forward and easy to accomplish. They are very well engineered and come with very good instructions. I've had them on a 2012 Silverado 1500 LTZ, 2021 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali Diesel and currently on a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. I made a clamp on step to use on the 2500HD because it was so high. It dropped down an additional 6 inches. I won't have another truck without power running boards. They have worked flawlessly. They are well engineered and very durable. I see that GM is now offering them as an option on the new trucks. 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali
  3. Like you I always put on a canopy. I currently have a Century. It looks very similar to your Leer. I wouldn't be surprised if they are produced by the same vendor. The downside is I lose the bed camera and rear-view mirror camera located on the 3rd brake light because the canopy blocks them. I have the Century High C version. I'm waiting for a Bed Rug floor mat to be delivered. They are super easy on the knees when I crawl into the back of the truck. 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali
  4. I'm a chrome guy myself. I've never been a fan of the blackout look. Nor am I a fan of the satin paint finishes either. Chrome always looks good as long as it's kept clean. 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali (with lots of chrome)
  5. I just installed a canopy on my 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. The downside is that it blocks the camera that looks in the bed and the rear-view camera that feeds the rear-view mirror. I'm considering buying a replacement 3rd brake light with wire harness that has the rear-view camera built in. I see this on ebay for less than $200. I would like to replace the 3rd brake light on the canopy with this unit. The thing that I'm not sure about is the wire harness. I've been told by an electronics tech that the connector plug is LVDS. He couldn't enlighten me as to whether or not I can extend the harness by stretching the harness supplied with the replacement 3rd brake light assy. Since I'm not very savvy when it comes to modern electronics, I thought it might be worthwhile posting here to see if anyone here can help me. 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali 3rd Brake light w- camera.docx
  6. I had trouble with the QR code registering properly so I called the local dealership. They looked up the VIN and gave me the paint code right then. 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali
  7. If I wanted to add an additional circuit that would deenergize when I turned off the motor, where/how would I connect it in the fuse panel?
  8. Thanks bunches, So easy and super helpful. The video is A1!
  9. I have a 2022 Silverado with black cloth heated seats and folding center seat. There are 2 storage areas, one in the folding back and one under the lower seat. I would like to trade for a center console and leather bucket seats with seat heaters. Any takers?
  10. The 12v outlet on the dash is energized all the time. I would like it to deenergize when I turn off the engine. I have considered adding an additional 12v outlet and wiring it to the accessory side of a fuse panel. How do I accomplish either of these scenarios?
