    Yes the drain plug, thanks! I was thinking of asking the dealership or local mechanics but I didn't think they would be inclined to help since that's business they are losing on but eventually I'll ask

    Lol, i mean I used to change my old trucks oil on my own. I just can't seem to find this plug

    So I am trying to save some money by doing it myself but when I go under the truck to drain the oil I can't seem to find the bolt that I need to take off. I was able to find the filter and when I see videos online, where the screw is supposed to be, I'm seeing a black plastic piece. Do I need to take that off to find the bolt? Hopefully what I am saying makes sense. Thanks for your help.
