I had the same issue and I replaced the thermostat than everything was working fine, which wouldn’t be the temp sensor

Hi everyone, I have recently been having issues we’re my fan would stay on full blast and the temperature gage would be at 0 or not working. I believe it may be time to change my thermostat, however when I disconnect the battery everything works fine for a few days and sometimes weeks tell it happens again and my fan is on full blast even when I shut the truck off. My question is, can it be something other then the thermostat due to the fact when I unplug my battery every returns to normal? Any info is truly appreciated, thanks
