  1. No rattles noticed, just counterintuitive. Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I won't be heading to the dealer!
  2. I notice that on the upfitter aux switch panel harness (the one that runs along the cowl in the engine compartment has some wireclip that attach with the existing panel clips. I'm not installing the aux switches, but I'll be installing some wiring along the same path for my powersteps. Does anyone now the part number? It comes as part of 84794790. thanks
  3. I just picked up my '23 Sierra. While looking around, I noticed the front seatbelt attachment appear to be installed backwards. It seems to me the felt should be facing the pillar trim to prevent rattling. Both sides are the same.
  4. My very not bare bones SLE will have the column shifter. It would want to add the console with many other options, though. In the configurator: - Premium audio: console - Leather: console - certain engine/trans combos: console (I ordered the 2.7) - etc.
  5. Sounds like the network isn't waking up. You likely have multiple modules that are dead. Most of the modules inside are not watertight. Anything from the body control module to the radio can kill the network and bring everything to a stop. Here's a video about a similar issue showing one module taking out the network and there a lot less modules in that era of Yukon than today's. I wish you luck.
  6. My friend just had a system put in his jeep that disables the push button start. Apparently, without the push button start working, the latest methods to steal cars don't work. I'll be putting in my 23 Sierra (whenever it shows up) and will post about it.
  7. Any chance you can get the part number off the new switch before it gets installed? Getting my truck this May(be) to tow and I'd like to see if the fix was caught in production.
  8. Looking at buying a Silverado or Sierra with the 3.0 Duramax. I noticed they are offering a max tow package with the 3.73 gears. Don't really need the extra towing capacity with the trailer I'd be pulling, but the little bump in payload would be handy when towing. BTW, I will not be choosing an offroad trim package and the truck will remain stock with me. Is there a big difference in real world fuel economy? Thanks
