  1. Another option would be to find an adapter plate to adapt your puck system to rail system hitches. That would open you up to many cheaper used rail system hitches on the various local marketplaces.
  2. Even used ones on FB marketplace are still quite expensive for puck system hitches.
  3. So when is this thing going live
  4. we are a family of five and have the 311bhs at the top of the list because of the amount of storage and features they fit in to a <40ft bunkhouse 5th wheel.
  5. There is this post that has some replies that may be useful:
  6. I’ll have to keep my eye out for them next time I drive but there. I just drove by on Sunday but wasn’t paying attention for 2024’s. Just admiring the massive massive amounts of trucks sitting there.
  7. same exact thing with me. LT trim all the way
  8. I like GM's optioning/packaging better on the heavy duty trucks than Ford's. The LT trim really is the sweet spot and provides a ton of value compared to the XLT trim. Can't get leather or dual zone climate control on the XLT, which other than heated seats is all I want in terms of creature comforts. It's nice you can get all three on the LT with out having to go crazy with options on an LTZ/Lariat. Hopefully that continues with 2024 ordering.
  9. I would hope that a truck that is rated to pull 14k-16k lbs would do a good job pulling a load that could be adequately handled by a half ton.
  10. Wow hope everyone is okay
  11. Are there any updates as to when dealers will start taking 2024 orders? If production is going to start early next year, will they start taking orders before then?
  12. I don’t think anyone is arguing to the contrary. The original point was more forum activity vs. less forum activity; why the discrepancy in participation.
  13. How is that any different from the 2020+ HD forum here? There’s even an entire subforum here to discussing troubleshooting issues. I count at least 6 threads on the first page of the 2017+ super duty subforum about discussing new super duty orders there, yet only one here for the new Silverado/sierra.
  14. I’m curious, there’s a lot of activity on the “sister” ford truck enthusiast site about the 2023 super duty. Lots of threads and very active. This place seems like a ghost town in comparison. What gives? Is there not that much of a following for GM HD trucks?
  15. Similar increases for RAM and Super Duty as well. Although people seem to be expecting at least a 10% increase from MY22 to MY23 for the Super Duty based on the F150 increases, so they could be looking at ~7-9k in just one model year. If GM is only 2k more for MY24, I'm going to be buying my first GM product.
  16. Any thoughts on when order banks will open up? Or when trim packages and pricing will be released?
  17. Sounds like it's going to be standard for both the 6.6L Gas and the Duramax: https://media.chevrolet.com/media/us/en/chevrolet/home.detail.html/content/Pages/news/us/en/2022/sep/0926-silverado.html
