i did that after the 5/10 dealer visit when they said it needs a new rear end. drove it until the 26th when they said the axle would be in. i would go get it, but the dealer is 45 min away and not really convenient to get to yes they did. a super sweet trailblazer with 300 miles on it

well, truck has been in the shop for 20 days. still no axle. keep getting the run around from parts and the service department. neither can give me a straight answer as to when the axle will arrive, or where it is coming from exactly. sounds like it is coming directly from AAM after it is built. It was ordered on 5/10 and I was told 10-14 business days.

FORscan and AlphOBD for the Ram are awesome. I have used both. They both allow programming of multiple features. Basically enable the end user to "turn on and off" features that are already programmed in the various truck computers.

check the alignment. also, I noticed my truck started a decent pull right as soon as I put the BFG KO2s on it. granted they are 20mm wider, so the contact patch is bigger. I am really starting to think these tires have a radial pull to them

i have heard some are able to squeeze a 37 up there. I think a 35 fits fine

i know they will fit with stock UCAs, I just didn't see how a wider tire would not rub on the ball joint pocket lip

supposedly. i haven't picked up the truck yet, still waiting for the axle to be replaced. they said the brakes are done, don't know exactly what that means. although the complete rear axle is being replaced and i don't know if it included brakes.

I have Cognito's tubular UCAs. when I had my stock denali 20s, +47 offset, and stock 275/65-20 goodyear tires, the tire was 1/4" away from contacting the upper ball joint pocket. I didn't see how I could have run any wider tire without hitting it. Maybe it is possible? don't know

truck is still in the shop. they supposedly have done the following: replaced the steering shaft replaced the brakes and "looked" at the window leak, don't know what they did to fix it they are still waiting on the axle. it was ordered on 5/10. sounds like it may be coming directly from AAM. supposed to find out today where it is at

the pads on these trucks squeal like a 10 year old school bus. GM has updated the pads, but the new ones squeal as well. Mine started at about 7K miles. Truck is in the shop right now getting the new pads

have you been able to find a replacement set of pads? I haven't

my brakes are really good (except for the squeal). don't take excessive pressure at all

truck goes in today. who knows how long they will have it

what you have now is about as wide as you can go on the stock wheels without rubbing

My truck is headed to the dealer again as soon as the parts are in so they can address and fix 4 issues. 1st one: complete rear end is being replaced due to a leak. GM chose to replace instead of repair. 2nd: Intermediate steering shaft. confirmed bad, will replace. 3rd: brake squeal. initially said they can't hear/reproduce squeal. However, they have gotten worse. I will push them on it and bring them the bulletin. 4th: truck is now a victim of the leaking rear window issue. Question: Have any of the parts or repair procedures for the steering shaft, brakes, and rear window recently been updated? I see bulletins for the shaft from Jan, with the updated design, but same part number. Brakes, I see the "old" bulletin stating to replace pads. wondering if they have "newer" updated pads. and lastly, is the window leak repair the same as the bulletin from Aug '20? thanks

got the truck into the dealer yesterday.. the fix is to replace the whole rearend. apparently GM has tried various fixes and nothing really worked 10-14 days to get it in, then the truck goes back to the dealer for r&r

my truck is at the dealer. the brakes are one of the issues i want fixed. tech says they sound "normal" i will point them out today when i pick it up. and i will show them the bulletin. the other 2 issues are getting addressed and fixed though

i can sell mine or trade it for more than i paid for it. the problems are though, nothing to replace it with, markup over msrp, and the wonderful state of california does not give any tax credit, they make you pay sales tax on the new purchase price. so it does not make any financial sense to do it

the 6.6 gasser will be just fine. then you won't have to deal with the potential diesel issues. I should have bought the gasser. I only tow a few times a year and maybe 10K max

yep, it's under warranty. only 7500 miles on it. never had an issue with any of the AAM axles I have had. All on GM trucks starting in 2001

Noticed my truck has an axle tube leak at the diff. haven't noticed any drops, just wetness around the area. only discovered it when the truck was up on the alignment rack. wondering what the best course of action will be. let the dealer deal with it, fix it myself, weld, JB Weld....???

you are going to an inch smaller tire. the speedometer will read faster. on my truck, and others I have heard of, the speedometer calibration for the 275/65-20s is fast already. I put a 295/65-20 (1" taller) tire on my truck and now my speedometer is dead accurate with GPS and roadside radar. as far as the cap, depends on the wheel. but i know gm makes black caps in both the GMC and Chevy flavors for certain wheels. I have seen guys swap caps and do exactly what you want to do
