    I am on the fence about going back to gas. I have a 2020 duramax. all these issues, especially emissions related has me thinking. def heaters that go out and are back ordered for several weeks is ridiculous. all the extra costs associated with diesel, really are not worth it for my needs. problem is, a gas truck built the way i would want it, is a unicorn. it doesn't exist.

    I used Cognito's tubular control arms for the '20+ trucks. they have more bend in the leading arm so the bump stops do not need to be cut. i specifically got these ones because I did not want to cut the new truck. also why i haven't gone with a full lift kit. i don't like the idea of cutting and drilling frame. mine came with greaseable ball joints, don't know why these show non https://cognitomotorsports.com/cognito-standard-upper-control-arm-kit-for-20-21-silverado-sierra-2500-3500.html

    good question. I have them and was going to get them installed in the boat trailer wheels. Didn't even think about water. I'm sure they would be fine though as long as there are caps on them

    stock keys will get you level. you need to address the UCAs and the diff drop. I have heard stock keys from a obs like 17-19 actually. have the same indexing as aftermarket level/lift keys ????

    i know, but my dealer said there one has a red mark and one has a green mark ??

    is there anyway you could possibly look at the shaft and see what color the paint mark is? I want to make sure I get the right one. my dealer has 2 in stock. thanks

    yes it did. a few days ago I checked and it was available. didn't take very long to do

    reset them. push them closed manually. then open them with the button. open and close them 3 times with the button. the first time they open after manually closing them, they will make a loud "pop", it sounds like something broke, but it is normal

    there is a 7pin tow adapter that you plug into the bed outlet. it tricks the system into thinking there is a trailer plugged in. not sure which one it is though

    check to see if they plugged the sensor back in. It is only on the driver side

    37s look good, but I think the taller, skinnier 35s are the better choice. my truck has 2.5/1.5 lift. i had 3/2, but at 3"it was cranked too much. lowering it 1/2" is better, but made the rear too high with the 2" block

    many people say go with 37s. i have a Cognito hybrid level. I stuck with 35s (295/65-20). I think it looks great, proportionally correct. Not stuffed like 37s. these tires are 1" bigger than the factory 275/65s. my speedo is actually dead on accurate now. these will put less strain on the truck than 37s. IMO 35s are the way to go

    don't use the Blue DEF "PLATINUM" there have been many reports of issues using that stuff

    thanks. hard to tell on the front, how much up did you trim? I just looked at the extended GMC mudflaps I ordered. They are a 2 piece design. the front portion is held on by multiple plastic rivets. removing the plastic rivets allows the front piece to be removed and appears will eliminate any need for trimming

    can you post pics of your trimming. i have the same size wheels and tires now. so far seems like i only have rubbing on the liners. i am going to tackle this today thanks
