I have a 2025 GMC 1500 Denali. It has the multipro power steps from the factory. They are chrome on the other edge. I have seen reference to a LED light strip for the steps. Mine do not have lights. I have not seen an option to add them or a part number. Does anyone have these factory power steps with the LED lights? On the build sheet and the window sticker it says the power steps were part of the RFP Denali reserve super cruise package. Maybe the lights only come on the Ultimate Denali trim?

Appears I didn’t take the coating off after install and it’s flaking off now. I can’t get it to peel now as it’s baked on. Might have just let the elements remove it over time?

I don’t remember a protective coating. Didn’t know it had one. Instructions didn’t mention one. Dealer called and asked the same. It’s been on since early May and coating might be sun baked on now.

I bought the Aeroskin hood protector in Matte black from GM accessories (19418019) in April. I install it on my 2025 GMC 1500 Denali. I just noticed it’s chipping/peeling on the back edge. Called my dealer and they said stop in so they can look at it. Will see what they say.

My 2022 had similar issue. OnStar module needed replaced. If so, make sure Onstar programs new module to your VIN after dealer replaces module. My GM app didn’t work after the module was replaced until this was done.

My IOS My Chevy app just updated to 7.6. Under vehicle status it no longer shows installed software updates or being able to check for updates. I have not gotten any OTA updates since 2023 on my 2022 1500 ZR2. I’m wondering if anyone else notices the same.

My 22 ZR2 has a data plan. I use an IPhone 13. Use to get txt notifications and audio play back. Then it stopped working. Data plan still intact. No dealer or Informant OTA updates. My thought is something Apple did as that is all that has changed with IOS updates.

Mines a 2022 1500 ZR2 refresh. Different radio same issue. Many are experiencing this and posting about it. Mostly on refresh models and newer. Radio updates seem to help for some but often issue persists. Mine has been getting worse. I listen to XM mostly. XM cutting out a lot and XM restarting message displayed often. Lately IPhone doesn’t connect and has to been done manually. I mentioned it at 3 dealers when in for routine service and they say no radio updates and mine is current. I haven’t had an OTA update since 2023. There was a serial data gateway recall I got last year that was to correct issues with OTA failures. But since that recall GM hasn’t pushed an update. Odd also as the recall doesn’t show in my GM app software update.

Same issue and is slowly getting worse. I have been shifting to L9 and not sure yet if that helps. 2022 6.2 ZR2 14K miles. 3 different dealers visits. Can’t duplicate or normal for DFM is all I got?

Having same issues with my 2022 ZR2 with 6.2. Shudder around 35mph light throttle. At times it feels like I’m pulling a boat anchor and then it goes normal. Has around 14K miles. Seems to be getting worse. Had it to selling dealer and two other dealers. No check engine or codes and they said couldn’t duplicate issue. They said normal and could be the DFM. I ran in L9 but can’t tell for sure if it’s makes a difference. I also mentioned a shifting driver seat track. Makes a clicking movement on turns. All three dealers couldn’t duplicate. I can’t get it to do it pushing on the seat. Read another owner who complained and the seat track was replaced. My factory bumper warrant expires beginning April. I do have an additional 12 months 12K GM certified. Since I bought it with 5K miles. Not sure if the GM certified is same as the factory 3 year 36K miles?

Thanks. I do have the temp gauge displayed at bottom of the display. It showed normal when the temp light was on. Not sure if the 6.2 has more than one sensor?

The other day the temp light came on but gauge showed ok. 35F degrees out. Not towing. No check engine light. 2022 ZR2 6.2 13K miles. Light stayed on when engine was shut off then went off. Coolant level was ok. On restart the light lit with all the others then went out per normal. Has not happened since or before. The menu doesn't have an option that I can find to display engine temp just transmission.

I just checked mine again. Set HUD to just speed. When I change channels it shows channel on HUD for moment. Not seeing song titles as yet. I don’t have radio info set on center display. Tried that it made no difference seeing song titles. I’m ok as is. Just thought I remember song titles as well.

Just the HUD display used have XM song titles displayed. Someone on another forum suggested try adding audio info to the DIC display. I recently removed audio info from my DIC. Makes sense so I try that.

I just had this recall update done. My HUD used to show each song title show on the HUD then clear as song started on XM. Just noticed this right after recall was completed. I can’t comment on music from phone. Have not done that in awhile.

My 22 ZR2 does something similar. I asked two dealers to look into it but they say they can’t duplicate it. I can’t make it happen by rocking the seat around. Only when driving. Some other owners on other forums have said the same. Two said that the dealer replaced the seat base. All on the driver side.

I have a 22 ZR2 and it has rain sensing wipers. If I recall there is a setting to enable in the Informant Screens. Then on the turn stalk you turn to the first setting and that is for rain sensing auto mode. I thought anything past the first setting is manual intermittent mode.

I have a 22 ZR2 with the 6.2 10 speed. 10K Miles. Acts similar. A shudder and what feels like the transmission down shifting. Mentioned it to the dealer twice and got the same answer you did. I assumed it was DFM. I have tried tow and L9 mode to defeat DFM and rule out DFM. Not sure it makes much of a difference. No CE light to date.

My IPhone doesn’t connect to truck WiFi automatically as well. Have never solved it. I wasn’t sure if CarPlay had something to do with it. Be interested to see if a non paired IPhone would auto connect.

My 22 Refresh does the same. I have my iPhone set to reconnect after 1st connection. Every time I start the truck I have to manually connect to the truck SSID. I don’t have that issue with other WiFi connections I have. I have found no fix.

On my 22 ZR2 intellibeam stayed on after turning it on even after shutdown And restart. Then after a DRL recall done via OTA. Intellibeam needs turned on after each restart. Some others on a ZR2 forum have said the same happened. No sure why GM did this? My intellibeam isn’t that accurate. At times it goes from high to low an back to high repeatedly on signs houses etc. My 17 Subaru was more consistent.

The MultiFlex inner tailgate disable feature didn't work on my 22 ZR2 when I got it. When I held the upper tailgate button in for 3 seconds the inner tailgate just popped open. Tested it a number of times. I recently got the OTA DRL recall update. GM doesn't publish release notes on fixes included in updates. The recall said there were other things included in the update. Today I thought about checking the inner tailgate disable. It disables now and flashes the taillights as described in the owners manual. It enables again by holding the upper button for 3 seconds. I had read others had posted that there's didn't work as well. The manual does say your MultiFlex tailgate might not have this feature. Thought I would post what I had found. Only thing that had changed was the DRL recall update.
