    My 2013 Silverado 2500 has been misfiring & jerking under acceleration for a little while now & the CEL finally came on last night at startup. I took it in to Autozone & it showed for P0442, small evap system leak, canister purge valve, with the recommendation of replacing the evap emissions purge solenoid.. Could this be the reason for the misfire &, more recently, random gas smell? I'll attach a pic of the print-out. Also, not sure if it means anything, but is there something wrong with the ABS too?? There's no code but I just don't get why it would be on the print-out then... Thanks in advance!

    It actually ended up being rust on the driveshaft.. got the driveshaft resurfaced & replaced ujoints. All good now

    I'm going to need to have the torque converter on my 2013 Silverado 2500 6.0 replaced & would like to have a price range in mind of what it should cost all said & done when I go to the shop so I don't get ripped off. I know rates & such vary depending on location (I'm in NJ) but I'm just looking for a round about price for this specific truck, maybe from someone who's been there & done that.. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Yeah I've read torque converter as well.. Fingers crossed its not anything worse than that.. Assuming it is the torque converter, can anything else be damaged from driving it around like that?

    This is my first post here so cut me some slack if it's in the wrong place.. Anyway, I recently bought myself a 2013 Silverado 2500, gas 6.0, 4x4 & on the drive home taking the highway I noticed there is little shake/vibration when on the gas when going 40+. Nothing bad at all, just seems to run less then smooth while on the accelerator going 40 & over. It completely stops when I let off the gas & just coast. It feels like its coming from the engine but if not then idk where it could be coming from.. Up till this point I've read it could be the driveshaft or U-joints, which are not looking to healthy, very rusty. Anything else it could most likely be? Odometer currently reads 50,500. Thanks in advance!
