I'll clear up some. -HTHS for D1G3 is 3.1 minimum. -EPA didn't reduce zinc, etc. Newer API service classifications demanded better base oil. Better base oils produce less contamination due to less oxidation and thermal degradation, this required less dispersants and detergents (DI additives). Less DI require less AW additives. The DI additives compete with AW additives and reduce tribofilm production. -Only a fool would recommend running a high SAPS overbased calcium sulphonate oil in a direct injection engine. Calcium is the major contributing factor to LSPI. This was addressed by the formulation change in API SN+ and SP. This change was a reduction in calcium and replacement with magnesium based additives. -Its the Hersey Number and the Stribek Curve -Your use of HTLS is incorrect in referencing it to HTHS. It's a pretty obscure measurement and is irrelevant to oil outside of a tribology lab. -HTHS is provided by all oil manufacturers. It meets the requirements of the certifications the oil meets. Consumers don't need to know the exact value, only if it meets the OEM requirements. -With low sulphur gasoline available everywhere, TBN and TBN retention is no longer a relevant value. Don't believe me? Read the Chevron paper on TAN and TBN. That's all I really care to type for now. Do you use AI to write this stuff? It would explain a lot of the misinterpreted data and bizarre formatting of the post.

Fact of the matter is most vehicles on the road end up crashed, rusted out or sent to the scrap yard with the original transmission, transfer case and differential fluids still installed. If you even service these fluids once in your vehicles lifetime, you're ahead of most vehicle owners. If you plan on keeping your vehicle more than several years or more than 60k, change the fluids. If not, you need to decide if it's worth it to you or not.

It was a problem with the truck. Android Auto stopped working after my free OnStar trial expired. OnStar reset it remotely and it started working.

Using non approved fluids will void the warranty. Neither Amsoil nor Redline produce any Dexos licensed fluids. Maybe you should show your dealer the Mag Moss Warranty Act and try to demand free transmission fluid? Let me know how it goes.

Phone is pretty new. Currently running Android 13.

2023 Silverado Custom. When I plug my android phone into the truck with a USB cord, the phone connects briefly, starts to charge, disconnects, reconnects, and so on. I've changed cords and USB plugs on the truck. No difference. Phone and cords work perfectly fine in other vehicles. Any thoughts on why? Thank you in advance.

Pretty vague. Can you give us more information?

Are you referring to porpoising? Yes, firmer shocks will help with that. Last truck, an '18, had Eibach Pro Truck Sport shocks installed in the rear. Huge difference! Not to expensive. There's probably better but they simply worked. New truck, a '23, is bouncing all over the place. We're on a camping trip right now but I'm replacing the OEM Ranchos as soon as we get home. Are you using a weight distribution hitch? Some 'bounce' more than others

Hmm. Sorry, can't be of any help. Must be something related to the mechanism that moves the seat? Take it to the dealer for warranty would be my suggestion.

Is it the auto stop feature?

Are you sure it isn't rubbing? That's what it sounds like to me
