  1. Not bashing ford or anything, as I can admit I was contemplating an F150 with that motor, but just can't bring myself to think it would ever last nearly as long as a regular truck motor... Not that GM's motors are perfect either. http://editorial.autos.msn.com/blogs/blog--nhtsa-investigates-fords-ecoboost-v6-following-two-lawsuits
  2. Well if we see the same % increase in both HP and TQ for the 6.2L you would get a 454HP 477TQ engine. I can see it now with nice 454 decals! I think that would be cool, however maybe they round them out to 450 & 475 or there about. What I wonder and I've not looked at any of the other new specs is if they carryover the MYC 6L80 I think it had a maximum torque rating of 439ftlb's... Although I think I read they are beefing up the drivetrain as well for the new V8's I'd buy a 454................................. Even if it is horsepower and not cubic inches.

  5. 1988 jeep cherokee Inline 6 wouldn't die. 1993 jeep cherokee Inline 6 that also would not die. And now a first time chevy owner and loving it so far dark charcoal grey 04 silverado Z71 crew cab with the 5.3L. Man those tires like like to spin under heavy throttle, these trucks are torque monsters.
