Why do you feel its necessary to change out the alternator. Just use a Victron DC to DC 30 amp module and use your stock alternator. It can easily power the module. I've installed hundreds of these modules on rigs. I assume you have lithium in the RV how big is your battery sets? Mike

I fully understand the motivation to clean up the engine, but be careful they are clamping down on Smokers here in Georgia. Also note that your voiding your warranty. Any engine transmission problems are all yours and parts are deathly expensive. What is the reason your dumping the filter? more power? there are other options which won't void warranty. Gosh I feel so much better hearing the flash is a low tire warning I though my new 24 2500 had demons. With the cold weather lately, I've been getting both a warning on the display and turn signals flashing. Thanks Mike

For sure, raw fuel dumped into the DPF for 10-20 minutes during regen. I'm not sure of the exact volume, would be interesting to know! Mike

David did you have the same 6.6 diesel in both trucks? One thing is certain no one will ever see 28-30 mpg out our trucks. In fact 20-25 is even a stretch. It hurts when I consider my old 5.7 and 6.7 Cummins would obtain almost double of what I get with my 24' 2500. Ride Safe - Mike

Hey All - In order to check the steering wheel alignment, the truck has to be on a dead level road. Most every road has crown or pitch to the right for water run-off which will require the steering wheel to be held in a slightly left position, don't mistake that for mis-alignment. Mike
