  1. Yes, but after having others, I won't have anything else. It truly is the most secure, I can stack on top, tie down, walk on it, etc... plus they look badass. Well wort the money. Also, keep an eye out in the outlet area - they appear to have a couple out there now that might fit your truck and the discounts are cheap, same warranty and for example they have a HD one for 600 bucks off.
  2. too good to be true? I was quoted - install only for 5100's in the front only $175 - does this seem too low? It was quoted by a Kwik Kar location.
  3. I'm not looking to adjust the locking bars nor am i looking at the actual closing mechanism - the cover has a keyed barrel lock. I'm referring to the actual "locking" not the closing and securing. I can have my front door on my house unlocked and closed and you can have the diamond back cover closed and unlocked. No difference. I'm referring to the part that prevents you from turning and opening the lids.
  4. I'm not looking for it to "close" the lid - just turn the locking mechanism. This way, when I unlock the back access is unlocked and when I leave my truck and lock it everything is automatically locked. The only time I'll need the key is when I want to unlock the front box or I'll do the same thing up front. perhaps leveraging something like one of these - again, I'm just brainstorming. power door lock system
  5. perhaps not the right thread, but it applies and perhaps it should be in different areas as well. So, I'm confident we have some amazing mechanical engineers on here or some amazing redneckedness going on - or even better the super-hero of the combined powers. I digress. So, I just ordered a diamondback cover and I was thinking if there was a way to add a remote locking feature to it perhaps via a pop & lock and if it could be tied into the factory FOB. My truck already has the tailgate tied into the factory FOB - so surely there is something to tap into near by. Below is a link to a factory marketing YouTube video on the cover and @ the 40 sec mark you can see the lock and how it works underneath. Thanks in advance to any thoughts and input. 6. Diamondback. It's what i plan to put on mine, had a Bakflip G2 on my previous truck, it was great but there were some flaws that i believe the diamondback will address - plus try and find a bad review on one. https://diamondbackcovers.com/
  7. If you have Hey siri activated and you don't have the radio blaring, you don't even have to hold down the button, just say hey siri - also you can have her play music and it automatically switches to media
