They aren't common at all on dealer lots. When I was looking I still lived in NH and there were maybe 3 or 4 within a couple hundred miles and now that production is probably finished on this generation, that number would probably be even less.

Dammit, I got stuck in sand! Next time I'm in Indy I ought to swing by, bury my truck to the axle in your yard so he can see what stuck is. Does your truck have a rear camera? Mine does and the son of one of the guys from work loved it, but never understood what it did cause He'd have me pop it in reverse, he'd run out behind the truck by the lens then run back to try and see himself "on TV". Of course, being the responsible adult that I am, when he asked why he couldn't see himself on the screen when he ran back my response was: "You need to run back up front faster, Owen". I'm such an ass.

Went to the range to do some shooting with the HK. Still not as good as I'd like with the new trigger but even a rough range day is better than a good day at work.

Went out to visit some friends last night. First time I've gone out in weeks and I miss all the excitement on here. Grabbed some lunch and took the truck through a wash to blast the salt off.

Drove back from the airport. Been gone since Tuesday.

This summer one of my friends told me a story about his oldest son (11 now) when they took him to church on Christmas Eve when he was only like three months old he experienced what I'd call diaper failure and it destroyed his white outfit and apparently moms too. Only one of the guys in my dept who travels has a child and I'm pretty sure he uses Skype a lot to talk to her when he travels.

If you didn't reset the trip computer the average will suck. Rentals get idled tons.

Most agencies consider a compact sedan (Cruze, Carolla, Civic, etc.) a "standard" vehicle these days. Back when I started this job a standard rental got you a regular midsize.

Probably one too small for your group. For non- airport rentals we use Enterprise and rarely do they have anything bigger than a midsize sedan there.

Drove to Ann Arbor today and yesterday for work. Thinking about going out for dinner. Microwave dinner or canned soup isn't looking good for today. All the remote start usage has eaten badly into my average MPG, along with doing mostly city driving now- 14.5 mpg last fillup.

Not a thing, it's sat parked all day.

That would be handy but given what seems to be a long refill interval it isn't so bad. Though I did read the tank hangs down, which I don't particularly like.
