    Hah. E85 was $3.30. 87 $3.46 and 93 $3.66 I think. It needs to be 70-80 cents cheaper than premium for it to work out.

    I switched back to 93 going to St. Ignace last week is there is no E85 in northern MI. Gonna run it for a bit as I'll be headed back east for vacation at the end of the month and I want to flush the E85 out so I can get my highway range back to 400+ miles. Plus after this latest round of price surges, E85 is only like 30-40 cents cheaper than 93 so it isn't worth running.

    Glad ya like it Chris. Vegas holds absolutely no appeal to me. I'd like to see other parts of Nevada for sure but the big city certainly isn't it.

    70 is my favorite year too but I'd want a 71 bumper/tail lamps.

    Decent eye! My buddy's is a '69. I wish it were mine, he's done a great job on it. Worked over 396 with a turbo 400 and a 125 shot of nitrous.

    The border is a good 70 miles north. But Ignace is a port city and I think that falls under the purview of the Border Patrol.

    All set. You can't sneeze without a cop going by. Local, county, MSP even Border Patrol and forest rangers.

    Not missing much. Parade is due but its pouring. On a side note, a Chevelle on drag radials and without wipers sucks in the rain.

    My Tacoma had a floor shifter and it was stupid. Waste of space where cup holders would've been more practical or an additional storage bin. If you like them then that is fine, but there is zero reason to have one there as it just wastes space.

    Visited the Chevy booth at Ignace. They had a Z71 Silverado and a Silverado pace truck that has an awesome looking tonneau I want to learn more about. Also had a 427 Convertible Vette, a 1LE and ZL1 Camaros. Nice looking stuff. Was hoping to see a C7 but it wasn't there, at least not yet. Saturday is the big day so there's still time.

    Why are you so hung up on a console shifter? That's car stuff right there and nothing more. I can see a floor console being desirable but the shifter just wastes space. Keep it on the column where it belongs.

    Michigan has been one of the more expensive states lately though thankfully it has dropped some as of late and SC usually is among the cheapest. It's the reconciliation they get for having crappy BBQ.

    Honestly save up and get a good shop to run the pipes right.

    You will hate that the next time you take a long drive. In my 2003 I had a super 40 ending under the bed and even that sucked.

    I know someone who bedlined an entire truck. Looked pretty good actually.

    Eating the windshield or being thrown from the truck will get you a lot more than an abdominal injury. As for the issue of it beeping when doing off-road work, buy a buckle from a junkyard. Every vehicle made today will ding at you if you don't buckle up so you really have no ground to stand on anyhow.

    My permit is good in Washington. But I'd pass on Oregon and California. No need to take any special trip to the northeast, I spent the first 27 years of my life there and seen most everything worth seeing for the time being. Mainly I want to see the southwest and the Rocky Mountain region as I haven't spent much time in those places.

    While thankfully Jersey is small enough that you can blast through it on the turnpike on one tank of gas, though I can't say I'd have much reason to go anywhere near Jersey for non-business trips. Same goes for Oregon. I'd like to take a cross country trip some day but will not visit any states that don't honor my CPL.

    Mines tethered to the truck. Also never taken it to a full service station. Probably will avoid that at all costs.

    Where you going? 3.5 hours is enough to get out of MI in most directions.

    All Purpose Cleaner. Any of the real car care brands sell it (ie not the cheap stuff from autozone. )
