  1. Hit one in August of 14 with my 02 silverado and broke the deer in two, only broke my lower valance and a fog light. $200 repair, lifted trucks FTW lol
  2. It's still just as bad lol
  3. Hit the first one at 45 killed it on impact. Didn't do as much damage as I thought it would. Second deer I was going 55 and saw it coming across and slammed on my brakes, it was a love tap at around 20 lol
  4. Pushed the front bumper in on both sides (hit two deer). Broke driver side headlight housing and part of the grille. Barely noticeable unless you look. Fixed the broken headlight with JB Weld PlasticWeld lol I don't think I have any pictures. Some chipped paint up front as well
  5. $120 for the springs through Amazon and then $220 for the rotors and pads but they had a 10% off coupon so it brought it down to just over $200 shipped with tax
  6. I plan on doing some type of LED cube for additional backup light
  7. Another member suggested the red LED bulbs as well as running lights, I'm not sure if it would be legal though. I'd imagine it would be and look pretty cool and then still put in a second LED bulb for the cargo lights
  8. I guess you can always hook them in with the reverse lights so they come on when the truck is in reverse or when you hit the unlock button on the key fob, but then you can only activate it that way you can not keep them on like you can if they are wired in with the cargo lights in the bed
  9. I'll look for them when I do my next tire rotation
  10. I know they are different because I've tried looking for stainless braided lines for it this weekend and no one makes them yet. And they also have different part numbers from the gmt900 trucks so I wouldn't want to buy them and risk the chance of them not fitting
  11. No bc they would not be a legal running light. They are wired into the cargo LED'S in the bed so when you hit the button on the dash they come on with them
  12. https://www.oznium.com/led-bolt I used a black, aluminum housing, no lense, 16mm in each step. I used a dab of red loctite on each one to keep the nut from backing off. For the 16mm if you have a 5/8" drill bit it works perfectly. When you have the step removed you look at the top and have the two mounting holes there. I just made a straight line between the two then measured to the middle (approx 3 inches) and drilled it. Simple and worked perfectly Wired in with the led cargo lights in the bed, do not wire them in with the license plate lights as you can get a ticket for that bc you can't have white lights on in the rear while driving
  13. Roof marker lights look like crap on stock 1500 trucks, only if it was lifted or an HD truck. The rocker panel lights would be cool if I kept my running boards on. If I ever lift the truck and put the running boards back on I'll be sure to do both. Did LED cab lights on my 02 and they came out awesome, I don't think I would wanna be the one cutting into a newer truck like this though. I'll let the shop take that chance
  14. Well headlights are next for me, had the HID's hooked up incorrectly before so gonna take another shot at them! Maybe I should actually get that deer damage repaired first though, hmm....
  15. Here you go, took them this morning. Makes me want to do more lights now haha
  16. Psshh I have 42k and have owned it a little over a year lol
  17. What killed the ride in my 02 were the polyurethane bushings all the way around on the control arms and leaf springs, I think you'll notice an improvement if anything
  18. Yeah I've been following your build since the beginning, can't wait to see her leveled out, gonna look nice!
  19. I agree. I'm gonna try and install some this week myself. Did you get that tool yet?
  20. I use invisible glass but get minor streaking, I'll have to try it with the newspaper!
  21. My pinion blew in my 02 and did the same thing
  22. Followed the removal instructions through Anzo for installing their replacement steps and I must say the bolts were a pain to get to. But yes, just drilled, reinstalled the step, and ran it to the cargo light wires. I'll get a shot from the back and put it up
  23. Didn't have time to check today I was busy, I'll check tomorrow for ya [emoji106]
  24. Lol I removed the vacuum line to the intake (off my catch can) and seafoamed the engine. Didn't really do anything so I poured the other 2/3rds of the bottle in the tank
