Alright, here it is, everything I've done today. Pretty busy but well worth it. Got it cleaned this morning at the local car wash (did a decent job). Got back home and started off by replacing the front pads and rotors with Power Stop brakes and rotors severe duty truck and tow model Moved on to the rear assist springs, easy install. Also hit the u bolts with the impact to make sure they were tight Went ahead and covered the front and rear bowties with black vinyl, need to redo the rear bc I messed up cutting it so a little gold is showing And last but not least I finally installed my bumper step LED's! This is my favorite of all the mods I've done so far, it just looks cool lol

My can makes a hissing noise, from what I can collect it's the suction force collapsing the hose. I even upgraded to transmission hose but it still makes it, not bad enough to drive me insane though lol. Some guys on the k2 trucks have upgraded to hydraulic hose but it's not worth my time or money to do that, it's not that damn bad haha

I have 3.42's with a 6 speed so equivalent to 3.73 with the 4l60e

That's what I went with on my 02 just I got them locally cause I already had everything torn down and couldn't afford to have it down for a couple days so they got me on pricing lol

Bushings are trashed. Drill out the rivets and the replacements come with bolts. Not bent, they tend to angle forward due to the pressure of the torsion bars. But you'll be paying about $40 a piece for the mounts

Well I shouldn't be snooping around the Internet cause I just ordered new rotors and pads for the front. 10% off on top of a better price than AutoAnything plus with my Amazon.com Store Card I get 0% for 6 months to pay it off. Just another thing to add to the list for this weekend, looks like my truck is going to be getting some shweet new upgrades by the end of the weekend, I'll keep this thread updated! Now should I commit to a custom tune or not? [emoji57]

Cleaned the interior since I've neglected it since about mid November, now I realize I shouldn't have done that cause it took 2.5 hours to get it perfect. Got a lot of stuff planned for this weekend, hopefully I can finish it all up and post it up!

All this talk about loose u bolts on a lot of yall trucks makes me want to torque mine down properly this weekend while I'm working on it

Helper springs should be here by Friday so I'm lining up stuff to do to the truck this weekend since it's gonna be 65! I just got my black vinyl wrap in today so I'm going to cover the gold emblems with the wrap, make the truck a little sleeker Also ordered these for reverse light bulbs, I'll be sure to take a before and after pic And now that I learned that you don't have to remove the entire bumper to do foot pocket lights, I'm gonna attempt to do those as well. Here's what I'm using for those (have had them over a year, I'm just too lazy) Also going to clean the exterior as well since it's way overdue. Probably polish the exhaust tip as well to make it stand out and I may take a ride down to my exhaust guy and see what it would cost to get a new muffler welded in as well as get rid of the resonator. I'm thinking a MagnaFlow muffler of some sort, any suggestions?

Some people just don't look hard enough lol. I know some guys in the k2 section have more posts than I do and they joined last year or year before while I've been a member since 2011

I had the i1000 tuner but it kept giving me issues, wondering if the i2 would give me less issues? Let us know how you like it!

Went ahead and ordered helper springs through Amazon bc AutoAnything would only beat them by $1 and I get rewards points on my Amazon.com Crédit card for using it on Amazon. If they would have honored the $112 price (20% off) I would have gone through them but they wouldn't so I took my business elsewhere. Nothing against them, they still have awesome customer service
