  1. Rough Country 2.5 leveling kit on current truck with 295/60R20 Cooper STT Pro

  2. Installed a wireless charger in my console this weekend. I wont go in detail on the steps as most know how to do it, but when putting the plastic tray back in I used 4 screws to mount the plastic tray back in place. The tray does still sit flush, and has no visual difference or feel than when 6 screws were in. I have used this over the weekend, and it has easily picked up the phone each time it is set down, and remains charging as long as the truck in on. Below is the charger I used. To access the wireless coil, there are 4 rubber feet on the bottom that you need to remove. This will give you access to 4 screws. Once they are removed simply separate the top and bottom and the coil will come out. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017KQXO4U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

  3. It was not bad at all. The hardest part was getting the nut on the back side of the aluminum to get the bar on due to a bolt on the truck being sort of in the way. I just had to put the bolt to the aluminum and screw the bolt on rather than push the bolt through first which is seen below. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. IMO, needs a lowered wheel set up instead of lifted look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. Lightbar was $25 from amazon. The wiring and switches and inline fuse, did not cost more than $40.

  6. Installed a 22" light bar from Amazon this weekend. Mounted on the two brackets that were from the lower valence that i removed. I had to add a 24" piece of aluminum behind so it was mounted to the holes since they were only about 15 inches from each other. It fits perfectly between the two tow hooks too.

  7. integration is the short answer. Longer answer.... Try this. Put a eight ounce glass of milk in a sink. Above it one of those 5 gallon water bottles with a valve and start draining the bottle into the glass allowing the glass to over flow. Keep track of how much water it takes to make the glass clear again. When you done with that think how convoluted the interior of a transmission compared to the simple shape of a cylinder. In the laboratory you would use an 'opacity' meter to quantify the degree of cleanliness and not your eye which will lie to you. Next fill that glass with milk and dump it out. Fill it with water and dump it out. Over 90%. Repeat two more times and it will be 97% clear. This would simulate an overhaul fill. They taught you this in chemistry labs. Repeat that process with only removing 1/2 of the liquid each time. You'll get the point the math is supplied in the post. They taught you this in middle school math. The type of process the power or pump flush is trying to simulate is something similar to what the oil industry does to pipelines when flushing large transmission lines between liquid types. But most either don't know or don't remember they do this with a device called a 'pig' or a plug that fully displaces the lines volume in one sweep. Why? Refer the running water in a milk glass paragraph. A 24" pipeline is a much simpler shape than a gear box. Power flushing a brake system is a bit different due to line size and capillary action. Assuming you suck out the reservoir and refill three times before attaching the power head. Biology would have hinted at this. What your observing is an illusion of clean without actually being clean. That said accepting it is a whole different thing. It's your gear box. Do as you please.

  8. that's funny, I just did the same install this weekend with almost the same charging mat on my 2014 sierra. the one below is a similar model and also works. https://www.amazon.com/Choetech-T513-Wireless-Charging-Devices/dp/B00JA7HNZO/ref=pd_cp_107_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=A403PGZ2CXVSJV21119C

  11. Picked up a 10 pack of heavy duty, metal body LED's for $8. Tapped the dome light for interior. And for just under $50 I picked up the wiring harness for the bed lights and tapped it with some 8" COB LED's for the bed.

  12. Great now we have gas pedal issues, lmao I just got mine and I agree it seems lazy let u know how it changes anything good or bad

  13. ^Exactly. I'll update how it responds now. But 3/16" of flex at that location equates to about 1/2" at the pedal. B.S. BMW gas pedal is a real pedal. I love the gas pedals in my E39 and E90. Has anyone noticed how there is about a 1 foot distance between the brake pedal and the gas pedal (depth)? I'm scared if it had a clutch they'd do something like that too. What's up with that? While we're at it, floor mounted gas pedals should be mandatory. At the end of the day, my new $46k truck has a gas pedal that is flimsier than my 2yr olds power wheels pedal. The new truck has a lot going for it, hence why I bought it... but it still has a lot of "GM issues". GM needs to hire some BMW Quality Control guys or something. what do you think the new F150 and Ram guys would think seeing me put a paint stick behind the gas pedal? I just need a fix. Driving in traffic is horrendous with this pedal. It's all or nothing. I owned a '07 6.0 F250 Diesel and the pedal was super crisp and had no flex. If I worked at GM as a project manger or QC I'd shove this pedal up someone's backside. I'm seriously debating retrofitting a BMW pedal.
