  1. If I get more lights I will need to do the big 3 and bigger alternator. 2 100 watt Hellas draw pretty heavy.
  2. Looks great! I need to do the big 3.
  3. If it was mine I'd be tempted to rewire the whole thing. I hate chasing stuff around. Besides rewiring most of a car would keep you busy a while.
  4. That's about half of a "standard" generator.
  5. The nice thing about the stock antenna is if it clears something you know the cab will. Also if you use AM at all the stubby antenna will hurt reception about as bad as having no antenna at all. I think the stock antenna looks better than the stubby ones. But I do think the best look is to get rid of it and get the escalade trim piece which has no antenna hole.
  6. It's just a lot more draw to convert to higher voltage and then back down for charging a phone is what I meant.
  7. That doesn't make sense lol. Convert 12 volt to 110 and then back to 5? volt. I would like a converter to run a fridge though lol.
  8. It's pretty common to weld a bigger nut onto the manifold bolts to get them off. The ones on my 1990 had never been off, all of them came out fine. Pretty funny since people break them on pickups with half the miles.
  9. Pretty simple, get out the welder lol. Congrats Zach!!!
  10. Most that I have seen are in that range, many times the more aggressive tires will be 45k instead. For me, all terrain patterns are better for what I need. These do ok in the mud. I like having good wet and snow traction, and siped all terrains are great in that aspect. Like I said though, the dry traction on these could be better. Doesn't take much throttle to roast them.
  11. 4 yrs on my super start. Doesn't seem to lose charge if it sits for a week either.
  12. I did the "official" diagnosis and it pointed to a bad BCM. Trailer backup goes hot when it's in reverse so that's not the issue. Looks like he's going to have to shell out $150 for the new computer.
  13. I'm thinking about putting my plug into the hole where the spare tire winch rod was.
  14. I think it may be on the tranny. But the fuse that was blown has been connected to the overhead lights and reverse lights not working. But replacing it fixed neither.
  15. Isn't there just one that runs the back up lights? In the column? The fuse was blown but that wasn't the issue.
  16. I'm trying to figure out my buddy's pickup. No reverse lights, the fuse and bulbs are good. Stumped so far.
  17. 50 or 55k I think. Judging by how they're wearing they should make it pretty easily.
  18. That's what I have, it's pretty nice.
  19. Y'all should check out the 3rd installment. Chevy Colorado.
  20. All I know is my "low dust" pads are a mess! Lol
  21. I'm going to get the AC Delco ceramics. They aren't too expensive and they won't dust.
  22. Cleaned off my wheels This mess and rampant corrosion brought to you by EBC "low dust" brakes. About 400 miles since last cleaning.
  23. They're made from real tornados.
  24. One of my crap tires had 5 patches. Had a screw that I just left in until I got new tires too.
