  1. I have had the update. The sound drops just a few times at the start of the drive, just like it did before the update. There are so many things controlled by computers on the vehicle. I hope it doesn't cost a few lives with bugs in safety related software before they get this crap straightened out.
  2. Just a little further update on my 2024 RST that got the update last Thursday. The issue with the A/C fan slowing down after startup on a hot day (on Auto) appears to be resolved. However, the display for the radio now intermittently changes from the currently playing song to just the arrows for skip forward or back, and pause. Then it goes back to normal again. It also still drops the sound periodically. Maybe this will be fixed by an OTA.
  3. My 2024 RST goes in tomorrow morning for the update. I have both the A/C fan speed issue and the radio volume issue. The email notification I received also says this will "optimize the vehicle for future over-the-air updates". My fingers are crossed. We shall see!
  4. Thanks! Yeah, not a lot snow here in central Florida!
  5. It's been over 10 years since I've been on this forum. I have finally gotten back into a truck. On Friday, I picked up a 2024 Silverado 1500 RST, 5.3, 2WD. I'm happy to be back!
  6. Hmmm... still no new Silverado SS.
  7. Well I think that's really good news for me! I also agree with 11Silvy. I plan on a custom tune soon, and if I had the AFM, I would have planned to have it removed. Thanks, again.
  8. Thank you. I still wish I didn't have the AFM.
  9. Sorry for dragging this on... I recently bought a 2011 Sierra Denali. (L9H, right?) I was under the impression from all I had read that it has AFM. Was I incorrect? I hope so... I can do without the AFM, thank you.
