  1. 2011 and 2012 Kawasaki Brute Force 750. The 2011 still looks the same. I have a sound tube thing for it but it wasn't on it when I took this picture. I don't have a good picture of the 2012 with everything that I've added (sound tube, trunk / back rest, fender flares, and passenger pegs.) so this one will have to do for now.
  2. Two Kawasaki Brute Force 750s. Left one is a 2012, right one is a 2011.
  3. Bump. I have one acting up too. Says left front tire low but the tire is not low. My truck does not have the DIC. Will be quite a while before I have tires replaced. Take it to dealership???
  4. Well HELL! I had a fairly long reply typed out but I wasn't signed in... I agree with some of what you said. You usually only hear from the ones that have had a problem. I am one that has. One out of four trucks had AFM and that is the only one that had engine problems. I'll not be buying another! I've owned a '95, '99, '08, and '12. Still have all but the '95. The AFM JUNK on the '08 has been disabled. I don't agree with not offering the 3.73 ratio no matter the transmission.
  5. GM just keeps giving me reasons to not buy another truck from them making me glad I bought my truck when I did. My 6.2 doesn't have AFM and I am VERY glad it doesn't. Now the NHT is going to have 3.42 gear ratio instead of 3.73... Max should mean MAX.
  6. Me finding out what StabiliTrak is good for. Getting stuck in shallow but slick mud! Turning off Traction Control was easy enough to figure out but I couldn't figure out how to turn off the other junk. I know how to now though. Too bad all that BS isn't an option that I could leave off and not pay for.
  7. I have several posts on another forum regarding my gas mileage. I'll try to copy and paste the ones that concern mileage while towing here. All mileage numbers are hand calculated. My truck doesn't have the DIC thing. Checked my mileage again this past weekend while towing a 6' X 10' enclosed trailer. A bit over 200 miles each direction - almost all interstate. Running 76 mph - 77 mph into a headwind going I got 8.7 mpg. Coming back I drove 74 mph - 75 mph and had a slight tail wind. Got 9.8 mpg. Not good at all considering how little weight I was hauling. Going to be "interesting" to see what I get when I tie onto my 7' X 16' enclosed trailer.... Mileage from this past weekend. From northwest Louisiana to Lincoln, Nebraska and back. Pulled a 6X12 tandem axle U-Haul trailer to Nebraska. No trailer and empty coming back. Didn't check first tank... Second tank (with trailer) 11.6 mpg; third tank (with trailer) 12.9 mpg (had a 30mph - 35mph tailwind going through Oklahoma and Kansas. ); fourth tank (some with trailer, some in town, and some without trailer) 11.7 mpg; fifth tank (all without trailer) 16.2 mpg; sixth tank (all without trailer, mostly 45mph to 60 mph, and down hill!) 17.7 mpg.
  8. I have been 100% E85 for over 3 yrs now Ryan What kind of mileage do you get with that stuff? I run nothing but premium. Depending on where I am that's either 91 or 93. For example: I live in northwest Louisiana. 93 is common here. I made a trip to Lincoln, Nebraska this past weekend and 91 was the best I could find once I got just a little ways north of here.
  9. I've had two Silverados with the 4 speed and my current truck with the 6 speed. I could deal with either but I prefer the 6 speed.
  10. Found a picture of my new truck. 2012 crew cab NHT with my 6 X 10 (+2' V nose) enclosed trailer. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  11. Don't think I have any pictures of my current truck towing anything. Here's a picture of my old truck ('08 with 5.3) and my 7 X 16 (+3' V nose) enclosed trailer.... Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  12. I'm jealous! I'd love to be able to supercharge my truck but I just can't swing the $$$. Oh well.... I can't complain. The stock 6.2 is no slouch. Enjoy your truck. It's nice already and getting nicer all the time.
  13. I just went from a 2008 extended cab to a 2012 crew cab and can't tell that one is heavier than the other...

  15. Had a chance to check my mileage on a trip this past weekend. Mixture of interstate, highway, and city. (2012 crew cab with Max Trailering Pack.) First tank almost all interstate: 16.0 Second tank interstate, highway, and city: 14.1 Third tank interstate and highway: 16.9
