  1. Unless your truck is highly modified IE.. headers, cams, supercharger etc. The cut outs are nothing more than a noise maker. I almost installed them on my Camaro, but was please with the SOLO performance exhaust, Maggie and the mild cam set up. Before maggie was installed.
  2. I respectfully disagree with the catback system, IMO they aren't worth the money these companies are asking. Not for just an audible sound and no real gains. Unless someone is going to performance modify their truck, IMO their wasting their money. Flowmaster would be my last choice especially the 50 series. Again that's my opinion and obviously yours is different. I put long tubes, highflow cats, solo performance exhaust along with a magnason root supercharger and an enclose CAI on my 650 HP 2010 Camaro. IMO, that's performance. Just my thought's not intended to ruffle feathers. Mike
  3. Honestly, good is subjective. IMO, it's OK a little louder than stock, but the spring flap has to go. It is super annoying when it rattles and others have had issue with it sticking shut and their truck wouldn't start. After having a Solo exhaust on my 2010 2SS Camaro, quite frankly this sounds like SH!T. The above is just my opinion, yours may be different. Mike
  4. So, how did it go?
  5. Or the Mitchelins.
  6. I agree! The only thing I had was a Rancho shock issue.
  7. The service manager I know is a personal friend, we fish, hunt and drink beer together. He has nothing to gain for lying to me. I just have a hard time understand why some have it and others don't. If it's tires then that would be easy to determine. It appears to me that it's not tires, is it wheels, doesn't sound like it. Doesn't appear to be an issue only in 4x4's or 2x4's, I'll guess with you! All I do know is I have 7k on my 2lz LTZ z71 with 22" rims and No vibrations!
  8. I have had zero issues with my truck, almost 7k on the clock. I'd suggest you take the one your thinking about buying on a hard long test drive. I just had my truck in for service yesterday, I asked the Service manager how many 2014 are coming in for vibration. I've know the guy for 15 years, his reply was "none". Largest by volume dealer in Oklahoma. Mike
  9. Their kit now says "2014" Either the 13 fit or they made adjustments. Mike
  10. If I can remember I'll shoot some this evening in or in the morning when it's dark. Mike
  11. I almost forgot. It's over cast and cold here.
  12. No the colors are decent, only thing I have noticed is that in direct sunlight (shining right on the camera) it's useless. But I'm sure that would be any camera. I mentioned the shipping jimmy (plastic) because my 13 Malibu had it on there after I got it.
  13. Mines crystal clear. I'll shoot a pic of it at lunch today. Is there still plastic over the lens?
  14. Hmm, I'm getting very similar with the 5.3. I lose a little more when in Auto. Mike
  15. Cool, thanks! Mike
  16. I'll do some research. If anyone has any details with lowering shackles and the Rancho shocks, please share. Thanks, Mike
  17. IC thanks, Any idea if the Rancho shocks will work with shackles? I'll change them eventually but I'm not sure with what.
  18. YOU ARE CORRECT 1.257 by my micrometer. I also measured the fender height from the top of each tire. Front is 6" rear is 8" (both measurements are approximate, with .25"). Looks like some shackles are my next purchase. Mike
  19. WHy not remove the 2" blocks if it can be done? I am fully aware of the shackles, cheap and will have the desired affect. I like free.99 better.
  20. I realize shackles will lower the rear, just curious if any one has removed the rear 2" blocks. In my simple mind that would be the easiest way to level the rear with the front. As far as the U-bolt, once the blocks are removed, your on new threads so in my mind you would not need new ones. Anyone ?? Mike
  21. Curious if anyone ever did this, if so-results? Mike
  22. I'm back up to 17.3 MPG in the City after dropping to 14.1 during our last storm and me driving her in auto. I'm once again pleased! Mike
  23. Just thought I would share my experience, my FM radio reception has been great untill it loosened. Mike
  24. Good looking truck! Love the wheels and tires, details?
  25. If this has been suggested already, I apologize. I didn't read the entire 6 pages. I did notice this morning that my radio reception was terrible as I was backing out of the garage. I also notice as I continued to back out that my attention does not clear the garage opening. Once the truck was clear of the garage I went to check the antenna. It was lose, I suspect it was from not clearing the garage and it vibrated lose. I tightened it up and pulled back in the garage, reception was far improved. JME, yours may be different. Mike
