  1. I bought the lightbar from amazon Doesn't look like it's available any longer, at least not by the same seller.
  2. I fabricated them myself and I used mini led's from https://www.oznium.com/. I tapped into the running lights with a positap Photo of the install: LED size comparison;
  3. So I have the above set-up and I'm curious what others are experiencing when they tow. I tow a 22 foot Pontoon boat, trailer has surge brakes on one axle. Total weight is roughly 4500 pounds. Maybe I'm expecting to much but I'm not impressed, just curious what others are experiencing. My trailer does have surge brakes, and I'm using a 2" drop tow pindle. I'm wondering if that could be part of the issue as the trailer neck is certainly not level. I'm so dissapointed that I almost pulled the trigger on 2015 with 6.2 ltr until I saw that the differential was 3.23, intially I thought it would be a 3.73. After I discovered that, I killed the deal. I also considered the HD 6.0 ltr but the only rearend offered is a 4.10. 3.73 is only offered in the diesel. Anyway, any insights are welcomed. TIA, MIke
  4. The drivers side rear bracket lines up directly with the parking brake assembly. When the steps are up, the bracket does hit the brake assembly. I don't recall reading that I didn't need it due to me having a crew cab.
  5. What about the 6-8" piece of rubber that your supposed to put around the parking brake assembly? Mine hit also, but the with the rubber wrap, it's a non issue. Mike
  6. Cool-again I wasn't sure so I asked. No worries. :-)
  7. I can fully understand your angst. Have you tried their forum? As far as taking the time to answer all your questions, not sure if that was meant to be a smart @ss comment. If it was it certainly wasn't warranted. I was merely trying to steer you in the right direction. As far as other tuners, I'm about to pull the plug on my diablo ( another issue) and go with HP tuners. There is a much larger learning curve, but there are a couple of forum members within this forum with vast knowledge and are willing to help. Best of luck to you, Mike
  8. They are every bit as strong as the OEM boards, look a whole lot better too!
  9. Contacting Diablo is where I would start. Mike
  10. I used the gray green wire also, but when I unlock my truck (one push on the Fob) it unlocks the tail gate because I have my truck set up to open all doors on the first click. Initially I wasn't sure what wire I hooked the blue to but I looked yesterday and it is the gray with green stripe. If I change the vehicle settings, then the tailgate unlocks on the second push. Mike
  11. Thanks for the insight. Lew tells me he's tuned 40 + 14 Gm trucks and first he's heard of this. Can't seem to get it to subside. I have gone so far as to install the 91 diablo tune (not adjusted by Lew) and it still does the same thing (ecm), no change to TCM. I've yet to return it to stock tune, but that is in the plan. If I get time to day, I will do some more screwing with it. I think my next step is to load different TCM tunes i.e... stock and diablo leaving the ecm tune alone and see if it's something in the TQ Mngmt. Mike
  12. Update on my intune diablew tune: I've been trying to isolate a backfire issue at WOT when the truck shifts. I've noticed this since I had the third cat removed. My conclusion is that it was doing it with the the third CAT, just not apparent. Lew is stumped, we're still in the isolating stage, but I'm getting frustrated and about to pull the plug on the intune and purchase HP tuners. Other than the backfire at WOT the truck runs and drives awesome. Mike
  13. Just curious, is your trinity updated? Very important to plug it into a pc and run updates. I have an intune, had a similar issue until I ran the updates. Mike
