  1. Care to share details. Tire brand, replaced with?? I think it would help those who are experiencing this problem. Mike
  2. Great, thanks. I will be sure to tune in as I am very interested in how you are going to this! Mike
  3. Over the past two weeks, I've been driving around in Auto as it's been sh!tty weather were I live, mileage dropped to 14.5. Before that I would average between 16-17 mpg in town. Mike
  4. Was wondering how the install went with the "door jam" switch? Any pictures? Mike
  5. I can only imagine that the sound is not what your looking for with the last resonator in place. As stated earlier, I'm running a straight pipe (muffler delete) and dB are a little louder but not by much.
  6. I'm still on the fence as what to do with mine. I currently have a Muffler delete, but it's not that loud, I left the V4 flap and resonator but still ain't that loud. Some say there are three Catalytic converters, I'm almost thinking the last Cat is actually another resonator as there is no 02 sensor (pictured below). I'm leaning toward a Corsa cat back, but I would like to remove all the resonators. Mike
  7. Lol, damn Iphone....
  8. Yeah good friends, I paid 43k for a 2lz LTZ crew cab 4x4. Neither have any reason to lie to me! Mike
  9. Mine will not work when covered in snow or ice, I get a message on the DIC-saying park assist is unavailable. Mike
  10. I'm friends with the my local Chevy (owner) along with the service manager. I asked both if they have heard or had customer complaint's on the 14 Silverado vibrating/shaking. Both told me it's the first they have heard of it. Both are good fiends and I have no reason not to believe them. Like I stated earlier in another post on this thread, My truck has almost 6500 miles on and rides butter smooth. I certainly hope that those with issues, get a fix soon. I know I would be super pissed! Mike
  11. Yesterday, I was out on lunch with a friend who drove. I work on an Army installation and the weather here is horrific (it was raining and the outside temp was 20 degrees) . While we were eating, (roughly 15 miles from work) I received an e-mail saying the Post was being closed due to weather and all employees were being sent home. We finished eating and headed back to get my truck, I started it up as soon as we headed back by using the app, after 15 min, I started it again, when we got to the parking lot the windshield was 80% defrosted, interior was nice an toasty and ready for me to leave post. Outdoor temp right now is 9 degrees with the windchill, it snowed most of the night, can't wait to get out in it and play. Mike
  12. I noticed this myself, I actually use my IPhone app more than the key fob. Mike
  13. I for one am one the owners who's vehicle rides butter smooth, No issues or anything similiar to what has been discussed here. I fully understand harmonics, rode a harley for the 35 years Mike
  14. I agree with what you said. I just wonder why it affects some and not all. If in fact it is the torque converter and the TCM, was there just a bad batch that made it thru QC and those are the ones we are hearing about here? Or is there more than one issue that is causing the vibration like driveshaft, tires etc.. Mike
  15. I don't know for sure if they sell winter gas anymore, but I do know that every winter my milage drops on everything I drive to include my Harley. In Colorado, (where I'm from) They used to add MTBE (Methyl tertiary-butyl ether)every winter to the gas. it was designed to reduce carbon monoxide emissions during the winter months. Not sure if they still do it, but your MPG was drastically effected. Mike
  16. Over 25 miles is believable, but not over the span of a tank of fuel. Winter Gas will drop your milage by 2 or 3 MPG. Mike
  17. From Oklahoma, Hmm.... that was a real adult comment. I'm not from Oklahoma, but I do live here. If you posted 20-22, that's believable. Not 27. Mike
  18. And that is the beauty of the internet. As far as not believing you, I can guarantee that there will be many more who agree with me. It's your credibility, you had 6 posts when you uploaded that pic of your mileage, but the "over how many miles" was cropped out. Really Is your truck a hybrid?
  19. Mine with all the latest additions. Color matched mudflaps Weathertech window visors Chrome grill Bowties plasti dipped Future: Full exhaust Tune Under seat storage box (should be here today)
  20. And this is city, highway or mixed. Still hard for me to believe and I'm sure I'm not the only doubter on the forum, but hey who cares- it's your story.
  21. And I don't understand how yours could be so High. What were you doing going down hill and reset your DIC. I for one would believe 14 MPG over what you posted. Just saying....
  22. I had the update on my truck done, back in Mid November. No MPG change for me, I'm still averaging 17.8 MPG in the city. Mike
  23. Looks really good, very clean interior install. I would be interested in doing this myself. Mike
  24. Interesting, wonder if the BCM update that became available in Aug-Sept had anything to do with steering. MIke
