  1. Brother, you’re judging me but not offering any solutions. As long as I pay an an exuberant amount of money for an inferior product, then it’s ok? Give me a solution to my question or go away, you’ve derailed this topic enough already.
  2. How much do you think someone should spend to be on the safe side of things? Aftermarket is going to be cheaper than OEM, i'm not replacing the calipers, just the brake pads and possibly rotors.
  3. OEM stuff is pretty pricey, I think I might be going the Dynamic Friction route, it's 4 rotors, 4 sets of brake pads, brake pad wear sensor for $368 @ https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=16259809&cc=3451396&pt=13824&jsn=680 I just never heard of the brand so i'm a little skeptical. Do you think I need to replace the rotors if they have less than 35K miles on them?
  4. Hey all, wondering if anyone with a tahoe rst 6.2 performance edition change their brake pads and rotors yet? mine is coming up at 50% on the computer and am starting to look at my options. thinking of doing both pads and rotors. Car has 34K miles and is stock. thanks
  5. I just recently had a slow leak in one of my tires, bought a plug kit off amazon, removed the tire, removed the nail, plugged it myself and reinstalled the tire, the car drives and steers like normal. Definitely didn't cause a rough idle and definitely didn't mess up any electronics or steering components...
  6. Has anyone lowered their Tahoe recently? I have a 2023 Tahoe RST 4x4 6.2L with the RST performance package and want to lower the front and rear by 2 inches, just wondering if anyone has used the Belltech shocks to achieve this? Thanks.
  7. Like the title says, all three parts were taken from my 2020 Silverado Trailboss 6.2L at approximately 5K miles, they are stock parts, $80 for all of it, local pickup in the Inland Empire area.
  8. I see, I also need to go back to the dealer to get some polishing done on one of the quarter panels , regardless of this, I would still buy the Tahoe again as it’s the best size and comfort in its class, it’s ab absolutely awesome full size SUV.
  9. That's odd, mine unlatches but you have to manually open the rear window
  10. I would like to add that I took delivery of the Tahoe and I’m definitely happy with my purchase.
  11. No, I got the 6.2L, same motor that my trailboss has and it hauls ass.
  12. How is your car running? Any issues or concerns to be considered? What Tahoe or Yukon trim do you have and would to change anything if you could? I ordered a 2023 Tahoe RST with the performance package and should be taking delivery of it within the next several days, still have time to back out if I wanted. thank you all
  13. I’m actually waiting for my 2023 Tahoe RST with the performance package to arrive at my local dealership, had to wait about two weeks of transit time but I got one without a markup. I don’t see many tahoes or Yukons in my area, kind of odd. A lot of discounts on pickup trucks but nothing on the full size SUVs unless it’s a GMC Yukon. BMW was going to give me 3% off msrp and 4% interest on a X7, but the wifey prefers the look of the Tahoe.
  14. yup, same here. dealerships here are basically trying to sell their 2022, 2023 trucks before anything.
  15. i've been talking to 3 local dealers in the inland empire area and none of them are willing to place an order for a truck. they just want to sell you what they've oredered or have on the lot. weird time...
  16. oh geez, here we go again. markups on midnight package. yay
  17. i'm still trying to find a dealer who can actually place an order for my build
  18. that doesn't make any sense, i don't know what to believe. i'm more inclined to believe that the door sticker is correct and not the app. we will see.
  19. that's a good question, i'm under the assumption that you pay MSRP , there should be no dealer fees because you're basically ordering it direct from Chevrolet or GM. i may be wrong though, i'm also in the same boat, this will be my first ever custom built order. I don't mind doing it this way as i'm in no rush to get the truck, but my finances are ready to roll whenever need be.
  20. 10-4, I built one online to my preferred specs and submitted it to several other dealers , i hope they contact me.
  21. I called my local dealership about ordering a 2024 chevrolet silverado HD 2500 and he told me he would check with his sales manager and call me back, I never got a call back. I'm just going to wait, my local dealerships are clueless and just want to sell the crap they have on their lots.
  22. for the people who have ordered their trucks and are waiting for them, whats the msrp of what you've ordered? any markups?
  23. who's going with the diesel on the new 2024 silverados? wondering if it's worth it for mild towing..
