  1. I like 35's. I was just going to stick with 305's for #1, reduce power loss a little bit but still get that wider tire look I like. #2... $$$ Cost $$$. I'll probably end up with 305's before the lift anyway. Looks like stock tires have probably 5-6k miles left on them and me and the family just bought 20 acres of land and getting ready to build a new house....so the lift will have to wait unfortunately. So, I'll probably still have the 305's when I get the 4", so I'll probably have a few miles to assess if I like that or want to step up to 35's. I would have thought 35's would kill the power in these things. And yes I have 5.3 with 3.42's. Thanks for your response. Your truck definitely set my 4" lift desire in stone.
  2. Truck Looks Great man ! I definitely want a 4", but I only want to run 305's. And I actually like the look of the factory wheels on there. I'm thinking of running my factory wheels with 305's when I finally get it lifted. That's why I asked it the lift kicked the front wheels out some because I would actually prefer it to do that and then run spacers on the rear if I kept factory wheels. If I got aftermarket wheels then I would rather the lift maintain the same track width as factory. But your truck looks great. Good job on it. Do you have it tuned? How bad of a power loss feel did you get with the 35's ?
  3. If you don't mind me asking..... what did that 4" BDS run you installed ? I want a 4" on mine bad! Looks Good. Does the BDS kick the front track width out wider than the rear? You got any pictures of it from the front looking down one side ??? Thanks.
  4. Here's mine. Had it since December 2013. A little dirty in some of the pictures..... And NEEDS TIRES BADLY !!! 2014. CC, 6.5 bed. SLT. Stock tires still on it. RC 2.5" Level with rear blocks in. Front Air Valence now removed. Signature tells the rest. Planning on probably 295/55/20's of some kind within the next year.
  5. Need a little help here. Long story short. Had DDMtuning HID's for years and years in my '06 2500 HD. Took them out when I sold the truck. Now using All DDMtuning parts except the bulbs. Ballasts, wiring harness, and code eliminators all came from DDM. Bought Morimoto bulbs a few months back (again long story short, ended up switching out some bulbs from DDM with HID's in my wife's trailblazer and just buying new ones for me from Morimoto). So I installed the Kit using one code eliminator on the passenger side. (guess this is correct with the DDM wiring harness). Installed everything. HID's worked great. No flickering, no buzzing, nothing....just worked great......for several weeks. All of a sudden tonight on my ride home my Driver side light goes out. I could cut the lights off then back on once or twice and it would flicker a few times then go out. Then eventually it just didn't do anything. Had an extra code eliminator (capicitor, whatever you call it), so I tried installing that to see if that was the problem. Still no light. Took the bulb out and it looks fine. Guess my only option to check that is to switch it out with an extra DDM bulb I have and see if that one works. I'm not 100% confident I have it all wired correctly, but I was assuming I did since everything worked properly for several weeks prior to tonight. Anyone have any idea what might be the problem. I know there are 44 pages of stuff on here, and I have looked through all 44 at one point before just reading. But I really don't have the time to go back through all 44 to see if this problem has been diagnosed before. I looked at the wiring diagram too (which is what I used to wire mine), but still not 100% positive I was getting it all right. In fact, come to think of it, my wiring harness has a loose end with nothing connected. Like it had 3 ends to it or something. Having a little ttouble remembering now. And that doesn't make sense to me...... but agian, everything worked for several weeks. On a side note, my wife's 2008 Trailblazer has all DDM kit in it. It worked great for a couple of years, then all of a sudden her drivers side light only would go out. Sometimes she can turn the lights off then back on and it would work again. Sometimes it just doesn't work for days, then starts back. Also tried a capacitor on hers and it didn't work. Does she need a wiring harness too? Just doesn't make sense that it would work for so long then work when it feels like it on the drivers side only. All the while her bright lights have never failed. They always work. Any help is greatly appreciated . Thanks.
  6. Just did that shortly after posting. They said they should. Guess I will be ordering and trying.
  7. Digging back deep into this thread but I have a question. I've got the wiring harness, code elim. and all from DDMTuning for HID's for my truck. Prior to learning how to adjust the headlight beam I ended up putting them in and then taking them right back out. Used one of the bulbs to replace one in my wife's trailblazer. Now that I am thinking about going back to HID's, my question now is, would the Morimoto 9012 bulbs plug right into the ballasts and harness, etc... from ddmtuning that I have? Reason asking is so I don't have to trim or cut on the 9006 bulb from ddmtuning and I could just plug the 9012 right in and go ?? Thanks. Edit: Their website says you can use their bulbs to replace bulbs from other HID kits so I am assuming they will.
