  1. ……. and they are in!
  2. Somedays there are advantages to owning a screen printing, embroidery, digital graphics business! Pulled the headrest covers off and did some 3D puff embroidery to them! These are a bitch to get off …… getting them back on is a mother****** ! pictures to come when they are on.
  3. Have you ever driven through Rhode Island ……… “The biggest Little Sh**Hole in the Country” ? These are the biggest bunch of idiots on the planet, they re-define the word A**hole! They think that a turn signal is throwing you the finger…… it is unbelievable how bad people drive in this state. Even the cops will tell you that you take your life into your hands driving into Providence…No licenses, no registrations, no insurance …. they just don’t care about anything and think they can do whatever they want and get away with it. To solidify how corrupt this state is, what does it tell you when the House Speaker, the most powerful Politician in the state is raided by the U.S. Attorney's Office, FBI, IRS and State Police at the State House and his home! Do yourself a favor and avoid Rhode Island if at all possible!
  4. Max, I just removed the DIC surround bezel, I ran across a good you tube video of how to take it off, it’s really easy. Wrapped it after I removed it. Any of the other bits I have done were left in place when I wrapped them, because of the way this piece is mounted to the dash i wanted to get the material behind the outer edges. Check out my build page, there’s pictures of the other pieces done, http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/159461-chevyrcgs-2014-silverado-lt-double-cab-build/page-2 if you have any other questions hit me up I will be glad to help……. Thanks
  5. MIke, I own a graphics company so i have access to a lot of cosmetic materials and the ability to do them cheaply. I do Screen Printing, Embroidery, and Large Format Digital Graphics (54” inkjet for signs, banners, posters, vehicle graphics, lettering and wraps). The wrap I used for the center DIC surround is 3M 1080 Black Carbon Fiber, and is about $4.00 a square foot. Compared to other vinyls it is pretty pricey, but 3M always is because it is the best material out there. There are other brands that aren’t quite as expensive but anything in Carbon Fiber is going to be pricey. If you go to my build page you will see the other parts of the interior I have done, as well as rally stripes on the hood with the same material. The DIC surround was the only piece so far I removed to wrap, all the other pieces were done in place. Here is the link to my build page, if you go through it you will see the various other parts hive used the Carbon Fiber on. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/159461-chevyrcgs-2014-silverado-lt-double-cab-build/page-2'>http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/159461-chevyrcgs-2014-silverado-lt-double-cab-build/page-2'>http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/159461-chevyrcgs-2014-silverado-lt-double-cab-build/page-2'>http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/159461-chevyrcgs-2014-silverado-lt-double-cab-build/page-2 if you have any other questions hit me up I will be glad to help……. 6. Pulled the DIC surround and wrapped it with Carbon Fiber...
  7. This morning I noticed that the hitch plug that was on the truck from the dealer saved my bumper from someone that must have hit the truck! I take the hitch plugs that the dealers put on the trucks with their name and other data and cover them with vinyl with different designs. The most recent being Carbon Fiber vinyl with a red reflective Bowtie. Well the one on my truck must have been hit because it is cracked and broken and probably saved the center of my bumper from damage!
  8. So far, I scraped the ice and snow off the truck and came to work….. all set with the snow for the year, last weekend I was raking the yard and will have to mow the lawn this weekend …. if possible!
  9. Just bringing the truck in to do a level kit, 20” Rockstars with 33” Nitto Terra Grapplers!
  10. It sounds awesome, but I expected that, I have had Magnaflow on 3 trucks, that’s why I always go to that brand. Definitely woke it up a bit in the power department, as far as mileage too soon to tell. Thanks!
  11. Just got the Bitch back…….. Before After
  12. Truck is at garage having Magnaflow cat back dual exhaust put on right now! Will post pics when I get it back.
  13. Lights look Sweet, can you share the info where you got them and how you mounted / powered them, I would definitely like to do this to mine! Now have the Bowtie wrapped white!!
  14. Here’s a quick PS job for you to see what it looks like!
  15. Have it wrapped white, that way you won’t make it permanent, it won’t cost you a lot of money, no prep, and you can go back to the black in under a minute if you want to remove it! If you want me to photoshop it white so you can see it I can do that for you. If you want to try and wrap it yourself I can send you the vinyl too! … Just a suggestion!
  16. Right man, I have been dying to start building up my 2014 but the snow, rain and cold is killing me!
  17. Today was a very exciting day. the weather here in New England is finally starting to break and as luck had it I was driving right by my parts guys’ store on the way back from seeing a customer. Took this as a sign to start ordering parts for the new build so I ordered a Magnaflow cat back dual exhaust, Leveling kit, Black 20” Rockstar Wheels and 33” Nitto Trail Grapplers to wrap them in and a rigid LED back up light kit…….. I have been waiting all winter for these days to come!
  18. Very SWEET….. I am a big fan of the color matched bumpers / grilles and whatever removes as much Chrome as possible!… It’s not that I don’t like Chrome, I just don’t like cleaning it, and once you let it go there is nothing else to do except having to replace it. i own a graphics company so I usually wrap it black or matte black or if that isn’t possible, I am a big fan of powder coating too. I like to keep / use chrome in very specific / selective places and it makes it look all the more unique …….. your truck is Looking good!
