  1. Man isn't that the way it goes sometimes. Take pride in that water beading!
  2. Got em' mounted. Played it safe and went with 285/45R22's in the OE Bridgestone Dueler AT's. Wish they were a little wider but didn't want any rubbing.
  3. Got these the other day...hope to get them mounted up tonight! Dub Future in 22 X 9.5
  4. Sorry should have included that. Yukon SLE, 22 inch wheels with the Alenza HL tires, no moonroof with fixed running boards.
  5. I normally don't like to pile on a thread like this but I just have to share my experience in my possible new truck search. I have been kicking around the idea of getting rid of the truck and getting a Tahoe/Yukon for some time now. In my research for potential problems I have read this thread in pretty much its entirety looking for some pre purchase insight. I figured "how bad can these problems really be"...."maybe guys are just being picky"...."surely the problem isn't that common or pronounced." After driving a Yukon this weekend with 4 miles on the odometer I will definitely not be taking a chance on one of these units. The buffering and vibe on the highway (seemed to be most pronounced around 64-68 mph) was TERRIBLE. I feel for you guys that have this problem and can without question know it would make me ill to drive more than ten minutes at that speed. Salesman said he didn't notice at first and asked me to jump back on the highway to point it out so I did. Sure enough once at that sweet spot in speed he without a doubt knew there was a problem and agreed something wasn't right. I could see it on his face, "no sale". Once returning to the dealer the sales manager wanted to talk to me about the possibility of purchasing this unit even after knowing said issue. I politely told him no way...I'm out on this deal. He had all kinds of reasons why the truck buffered like that. The best one he gave me was the wheels locks on the truck caused the issue and that it could be fixed real easy. I smiled and nodded no thank you. I can't believe GM lets that many units out with such a problem and like I said I genuinely feel for you guys with this issue. I hope they get something figured out for you because this is way too much money for something to drive like that.
  6. Most of my vibes tend to resonate from what feels like the rear of the truck. In a search for a possible solution/bandaid for the problem I found these. In a brief search I see most guys using them are putting them on 3/4 tons and up to help with the ride. But after watching the video and looking at the possible vibration dampening these could offer I am thinking about trying them out. Anyone have any experience with these? http://www.sulastic.com/sa-04?make=GMC&model=SIERRA%201500&year=2014&motor=&viewmode=list
  7. Caught this one last night after a little shower.
  8. Looks good. Did you paint your factory grille or is that aftermarket?
  9. Well it pains me to say that even after new tires the vibe is starting to come back...I really don't understand why or how but anymore I don't care. I am just about done with all this and going to cut bait and move on. I almost pulled the trigger on a Tundra TRD Pro Saturday but keep holding on in hopes of a fix. Dealer says it's tires and it might be but not sure why this truck is so finicky and I have to RF balance my tires every couple thousand miles but I am done!
  10. Question, do you feel the vibe or see the seat and things sitting in the console shaking?
  11. That's a classic wheel that always looks good on GM trucks. Very Nice!
  12. I like those wheels and love the color....wish they made them that way. Anyone have any ideas of powder coating costs for a set of wheels?
  13. What did you go with? Sound clips after install?
  14. Good deal. Yeah I didn't want any rub either and they don't. Your two choices should clear no problem.
  15. Both of those will work fine IMO. I have my front end raised the same amount as you and I just put on 275/60 20's and they clear with room to spare for height and width. You might already know this site exists but if not it's pretty cool. http://tire-size-conversion.com/tire-size-chart/
  16. I have followed this thread for over a year now and have had my truck for right at a year. I have battled my own vibration myself for most of the life of the vehicle with a few attempts at balancing the tires as the only real attempt at fixing the issue. Each time balanced it did get marginally better for a short time but not completely fixed. I understand there are probably at least three different issues and vibes felt in this thread but mine was from 70 MPH on up and felt in the steering wheel and seat of the truck. Well after a years worth of varying degrees of disappointment with my truck and even kicking around the idea of just cutting bait and moving on I finally decided to put some new tires on it. I had a set of Michelin LTX AT2's installed in a 275/60R20 size (one size up from stock). That didn't even completely cure the vibe and I was pissed to say the least but it did change the vibe significantly enough that I knew it had to still be tires and a balance issue. So I took it back to NTB and they balanced once again which improved the issue but didn't resolve it. After jacking with NTB twice I decided to do some research for a local shop that offered road force balancing...something NTB doesn't do in my location. Thought about the dealer but honestly tired of jacking with them for various reasons. I found a Tires Plus close by that had great reviews so I gave them a call and explained my situation with my truck and my tire issue. Manager said bring it in...we will take care of it. Made my appointment and stopped in a couple days ago to get it done. Stood by outside the bay while both the tech and manager worked on my tires on the Hunter road force balancing machine. All four tires were off by a good margin and they even broke down one tire and rotated it 180 degrees to get it to balance right. Very cool machine to match really. Like I said that was a couple days ago and I really don't want to jinx myself but I am happy to say my vibration is 99% gone....finally. And the only reason I can't say it's 100% gone is I think this truck...this thread...and my head are so cued in on every sensation going on that it will never feel like it's floating. Haha It really feels like a new truck to me again. Steering wheel and seat smooth all the way past any legal speed limit in the states. Awesome!!! Makes me want to start modding her even more now. Sorry for the long winded post but I hope you guys that have a vibe similar to mine find this useful. My suggestion would be buy some good tires from a good shop that offers road force balancing. I kept my old tires just in case it didn't fix the issue so I could at least put them back on to trade the stupid thing in and have a nice set of tires for my next truck.
  17. Looks awesome man...are those rims anthracite or black?
  18. I got some Michelin LTX AT2 tires put on...275/60R20's and pulled my factory step bars.
  19. I'm in for the RB10 pics....
  20. Looks good! Any chance you could get some clearer shots of the new tires? Looking at that size myself.
  21. Ha not yet...paralysis by analysis right now. My birthday is this month and wheels are my gift to myself but just not sure yet.
  22. Got my truck detailed finally....
  23. I had to laugh at this....only because I know what you are saying. I am starting down that path a$ well.
