    That's about spot on what I am seeing with my 6.2. It has settled into 18-19 on my normal weekly driving and if I can get out on the freeway for any amount of time it puts me at 20-21mpg.

    I ended up calling them direct and ordering for that very reason. I should have the can in the next day or so and will update when I have it in my hands.

    What do these CAI sound like? Does it just make the engine noise more pronounced? I read through most of the thread and didn't see a good description or sound clip. It must be slightly loud for people to completely remove and go back to stock. I really like the looks of the Volant but might end up modding my existing box.

    That sounds about perfect. I don't want "loud" I just want to hear it when I want to hear it. I don't want to hear much if any difference cruising down the highway during my daily commute but want to hear it accelerating and just general horsing around. If you see an Iridium Metallic Denali chasing you through Lees Summit it's just me trying to hear your truck. HAHA (I live right by Unity Village)

    My thoughts exactly. Filled up again last night.... 389 Miles 20.7 Gallons 18.79 MPG with the DIC showing 19.01 MPG That tank even included a couple top speed limiter checks.

    That's interesting....when I talked with the dealer (not that they know anything ) they said the oil in if from the factory is just plain ol' Dexos that they would be putting back in it.

    Started removing some of the chrome on my truck....window trim, mirror caps and door handles done over the weekend. I am thinking I might pull the chrome door trim next and look for some black side steps.

    Anyone install one on these new DI engines? Pics?

    Just filled up again....raised tire pressure from 33 cold to 38 most of this last tank. About 25% city driving (average speed was 37 I think) and figured at the pump 18.83 mpg with DIC showing 19.2. Could not be more impressed with this rig! Changed the oil this past weekend at 2350 miles. Started to look a little dark and I always like to get the first oil change done at 2K miles or so on a new motor....makes me sleep better anyway.

    Hit the truck with a clay bar, polish and paint sealant session today.

    I should really raise my tire pressure and see what that does to the numbers. They are set right at about 34 PSI right now. I will raise them to 40 and see what happens.

    Thanks. It looked like they were even or at least not sticking out but knew it had to be close. I like the width of the tire on there. I have been eyeing the DUB Shot Calla (who names these things ha) wheels myself.

    Thank you sir. One last question if you don't mind. Looking down the side of the truck to the tires stick out any past the fenders? I love the way your truck sits and trying to decide what size tires to run on 22" wheels.

    Just filled up again last night. Seems like my "normal" driving routine with about 30% of it being city driving is putting me around 17.8 MPG. And that is even with a couple 0-80 MPH runs. Man I love this thing!

    Nice! I want your handles and mirror caps. What size tires on those 22's?

    I didn't pull the other badges off for anyone else but me....and left the Denali badge on for no one else but me. It might come off at some point but for right now it doesn't offend me. I am thinking I might plasti dip them black actually and see what that looks like.
