ok did you receive the confirmation right away? Did you use paypal? Just want to make sure they got the order, I am short 560 dollars on paypal so they have my money at least.

I ordered all the parts to do the console swap from Gmpartsheadquarters.com . Hoping all goes smooth. This is the first time I ordered from them as they were a bit cheaper than gmparts direct. I placed the order yesterday paying with paypal and besides the normal paypal receipt email, I did not get anything from them with an order confirmation although the page says I should of received one within 5 mins. Of course they do not have a phone number listed, just a contact me page to send a message. Question to people who ordered parts from them, did you receive an email from them right after you ordered? Did you receive tracking info?

When I bought my truck last week, I brought up to the sales guy about the system. I asked him what was their plans on this. He said they are working on trying to get an app store out there that is done through OnStar but you can use the 4g from your phone by bluetooth as well to get signal to download apps. Not sure if he was telling the truth but that what he said he was told. However the only way to get this update if it is in fact true is by driving the truck to the dealer and having them do a software update. In my opinion that is such a stupid way to get updates. They already allow you to download a back up to a usb drive from the usb slots, why not allow you to get the software update from a website, put it on a usb drive and have it update that way!?!?
